Congrats to everyone that just got their NOA2. Wow finally some action form CSC. I hope the rest of us are next.

Please tell me how much time do you have to get through NVC. I'm having some problems with my co-sponser and might not be able to send paperwork to NVC right away. I hear you have 6 months to get the papers in is that true?

I think they are doing all the september cases this month. Around first week of January most of the approvals I saw were the ones I-130 NOA 1's are from Sept 1- Sept 15th..It lookslike now they are doing all the Sept 15th -Sept 30th apps allmost all the approvals I am seeing this week are from this time period. i really hope they make this much faster because 4months is a long wait at USCIS considering you still have the process in NVC and Consulate that will add up another 2-3months easily.

Agree. I was shock earlier when I was told by an NVC op that it takes 90 days before the case # is assigned to them once USCIS approves the petition. I was like WTH??!!! lol. But I understand those are approximate times.

'Touched' .... 21/01/2010 ... and yes, IT IS NOA2. And Skype won't connect so I can't tell the husband even though he is waiting for me as usual. FFS.

Exactly. 4 months at USCIS plus 2-3 months at NVC/interview automatically puts you at 7-8 months.

They should be approving petitions, especially those without red flags, within 2 months.

@Don'tWhateverMe CONGRATS!!! It must be such a relief. @WAITER, @SACHINSKY and @AUS2USA you guys are next by God's grace maybe you will all get approved on same day like MsSheka and I. @waiter i think you will get some actions in a couple of days. Goodluck, u are all in my prayers. Plus, we will all continue to drop in here till every1 is approved and our thread becomes officially closed.

Yes Sachinky you forgot about Amie and me.... We are still waiting as well. Our Daughter is 3 months old now and I so want to just hold her... I miss my wife, step-daughter, son and daughter so much...

The number is the same as the one you get from USCIS website under contacts. It is a 1800 number. Go through the menu until you get to where they as you to put in your case number. Do that too. You will hear the same message as that you see online. At this time dial 1-3-4 straight. You may have to do this again if the automated message continues. You will hear a message that you are being transferred to a customer service agent. You may have to hold for 15- 20 min before it gets answered. You may sometimes get a feeling that the line got cut since there is no music or automated message being played while you hold. Don't give up!

I just called USCIS and spoke to a very nice woman. She stated that these cases are taking around 5 months to complete. Also that my case has been assigned to an Officer and he should be making a decision within the next 45 days. But that she would send an email to the officer stating that I called to check the status. (boy what I wouldnt give to have that email address) Hopefully this call will get us a touch and approval. Just crossing our fingers that we will be together by our sons 2nd birthday in August or our 3rd Wedding anniversary in November...

the text message came in late at night, i think it was around 10p.m or something. MsSheka also got a text message at the same time because we both rushed here to give you guys the goodnews. If you go back to the pages where we wrote our approved info the text message came just 5 mins before those posts. But, don't get bugged with this because it can steal your sleep. I strongly believed that you will get some touches and an approval very soon.

Rightly said Sachinky.....My name is not in your pending list,bcoz....our's is approved today .....the best birthday gift I ever got in my life.....Yes after 4 touches, ours is approved today on 21st Jan -my birthday.......Thanks a ton for all the support and I am sure we all will be there in another thread for NVC journey.....
