Hi All,

It seems that we are getting all the "missing touches" now......Today we got a touch again on the 106th day.......Yes, we also went mad when some one's approval was done in 17 days or even Nov filers were getting approvals. We never called USCIS after our case was filed. On utter frustration wife called USCIS on the 105th day and talked to a lady officer. She was informed that security check is pending and officer will send a reminder mail to the concerned...On the same day we got a tocuh -after 105 th day and today another.....Believe us, we pray for everyone who are in the same situation as only ourselves understands the agony of being apart. Everyone else can only sympatheize ....All human emotions went thru all these days....We will continue to be positive and will pray for all........

Luv & Prayers

agreed, it's very demotivating to hear of people being approved especially when they filed after you. I remember EARLy on in our waiting process, someone was approved in 17 days!!!!! I immediately called my wife and told you of the possibly good news that we might receive an approval sooner than we thought.

Oh, how naive I was!!!

I guess, you do have to remember that they allow 5 months.

The officers still have a duty to approve all cases, whether they be simple or one of the thickest files known to man

Patience is the key.

When it comes to the end of Feb / Beginning of March, THEN start pissing up a wall... Until then, be patient. It'll only take longer with the more stress you create over it :star:

oh yea it's so frustrating seeing others who filed after you getting their approvals.. and yea they have this 5 months processing period.. after we hit that mark, we started bugging USCIS with calls until finally we got our approval 2 days before Christmas last year.. exactly 174 days! imagine our frustrations waiting that long.. (well i've seen others who waited longer than that).. the waiting is all worth it!.. now we're on the NVC stage.. didn't expect it would be this fast at NVC though.. it's way faster than USCIS so you better have all your documents prepared by that time..

just hang in there guys.. you'll have your NOA2's soon, very very soon..

i couldn't agree more. i am still crossed with uscis, but i just moved on since the lord has delivered me from them. u know what? i only thanked God not CSC they do not worth my thanks bcuz there is every indication that some biases exist in their processing. guess what again? blast them here, it is the least u can do. it helped me when i was in the waiting to blast them here. even if no one cares i just get some relief from it. but do not say any word of threat that may get you hunted and arrested just say how much inefficient, irresponsible, and possibly prejudice they are. i am sure they have heard that being said about them several time and will not be surprised. and talking about calm, you can never be calm until u get ur visa and ur SO get to the U.S without hassle. for someone like me filling for an SO from Nigeria which happened to recently join the list of the TO WATCH CLOSELY countries when a spoiled motherf**** tried to destroy peoples christmas it is definitely not calm yet. I happened to know that the USCIS wait though insanely annoying do not hold a water when it come to the embassy. Approval from USCIS only goes thus far, the big guns at the embassy has so much power for one person that they can snatch the long awaited USCIS approval away (May Allah forbid this).

Bottom line, let out your steam here but becareful what you say. Plus you will be cool after approval and then get hyped for the embassy again, in all you are never cool until your loved one cross over and you can live happily ever after.

I wish u all the miracles that you are all waiting for.

I hate checking the website, it usually gave me depression to see the screen unchanged and the date stays the same. If you can avoid it, it may help. Plus VJ also gave me depression and that was why I tried to stayed off sometimes unsuccessfully. Sign up for the text message, it is the best way to get a real update or meaningful touch rather than the depressing self checking.

@sachinsky and the other b.day girl, happy b.day to u both your next b.day will be with ur SO here in the USA (amen)

sachinky... tell me about it. this dept is the most Harami dept i ever dealt with. I swear.. i just cant write what I want to write because of public forum.

but i can go on and on and on.....

did u ever imagine? if they worked like they suppose to... U and my wife would have interview in FEB.. which is just next month.... and u could be here

in your hubby's arms in march??? which is just 40 days away? only if our cases were worked on in timely fashion. why the hell we have to be unlucky ones.

DID U PAY ATTENTION to those who already have NOA2 and almost done with NVC.. how calm and patience they want us unlucky ones to be...LOL

sureeeeeeeeee.... i have seen most of them tripping only a month ago... about them not getting NOA2 :) and now its all cool for them..

would you ever be cool if you get approval in march? and would you say thank you CSC? no i dont think so. i think we are beyond that.

I am happy for those who already have NOA2.. lol no offense please.. i was just saying... how it can be different between approved applicants and still waiting applicants.... two totaly diff worlds... trust me.... every time i see a member who filed after me... saying he/she was approved or had a touch.... i log on to BS site to see if i had anything.... BUT NOPE... nothinggggggg. i dont know when some harami is gona touch my file, and send me a RFE. Dallay.

And a happy birthday to you too Deb!

Thanks, Mike! And Spanish, huh? That is on my to do list as well because we'll be in Florida (and my looks mean I get spoken to in Spanish all the time). It will serve me well for job prospects if I ever get there.

Husband's back home today after two weeks in the middle of nowhere so I suppose we'll be working out if we want to ring USCIS or just leave it until the end of the month. I want to tell him, leave it because I've reached a happy medium but the last goodbye was so awful and I feel like I've been home for 2 months and not just 2 weeks so the waiting is harder since then than it's ever been.

Anyone else like to join?

I'd say she's under orders from her husband so that she can keep whatever sanity she still has HAHAHA

Deb, exactly the reason I am learning Spanish. Jobs.

I'm a personal trainer, but the pay structures are VERY different in the US compared to the luxurious pays we get here in Aus, so I'm considering maybe some customer service type of role, somewhere, but a majority require Spanish as well... Ah well

Customer service seems like the highest paid entry level job. I mean, I COULD sell gym memberships for $8/hour HAHAHA I don't think so.

Back in the day when I was selling gym memberships I was on a $40K salary plus uncapped commission.

Someone tell me WHY I'm even bothering with moving to the States again?:bonk::rofl:
