SEPTEMBER I-130 Filers: Check in right here!!

Hi everyone!

It was so nice to come across this thread! I have just come back from spending the last two weeks with my husband in Chile and I am unable to sleep at night just thinking about this visa. It was so nice to read some of the other responses on this page! Finally I feel like there are other people out there who understand what my husband and I are going through.

I don't know how to make my timeline appear (which I have found very helpful when reading all of your posts for the past hour).

Here is the timeline for the K-3 visa:

01-16-09 Engaged

06-10-09 Married

08-01-09 Returned to the states (solo )

9-14-09 Filed I-130

9-21-09 I-130 receipt notice (is this NOA1(?)

11-27-09 I-129F filed

12-1-09 I-129F NOA1 (filling fee waived)

Anyone have any ideas as to when I could possibly expect to hear any more news?

I am looking at the online case status right now and the "last updated" column says:

I-130 12/02/09

I-129F 12/03/09

welcome i would say you will hear something within the next few weeks USCIS does not go in order anymore i think they go by whenever they get your security clearance done(background check) and if they find no errors on your form then you are APPROVED i see that your last touch was 12-02-2009 that may have been to add the I-129F to the I-130 I am guessing the next two consecutive touches will give you your NOA2

Hello to all the new September filers ...

Anyone else noticed the processing dates for VSC for I-130's?? #######, seriously. I'm supposed to not check on here anymore according to the husband. Over 110+ days of inactivity I think I am now allowed to vent occassionally. This whole thing is now seriously screwing with me. My life is on hold, his is not. Even decisions that used to seem simple are all of a sudden not simple, like buying concert tickets.

I hope someone else has good news soon. I don't think my prediction of Jan 10-16 is going to happen anymore. *sigh*

I know what you mean about tickets and whatnot. I was going to purchase ufc tickets for february in sydney. Now, I know if I receive my NOA2 today, I still won't get thru NVC + interview for about 7 weeks. Anyway, that said, don't allow it to screw with your life too much!! Easier said than done right? Haha

We are both doing heaps better since our time together in december. Ill be going over for about 3 weeks in feb/march and if we hear nothing by end of march then my wifey will come back out to syd!

I guess my situation is better than most as I know I only have about 40 days til I'm back with her (

My husband got me to call yesterday and I got the same old drill. When they received my Petition and it's in background check.

He worries so much about when we will get our NOA2. I have decided that if we go into month 5 without it I will get a hold of my Congressman right away.

Looks like a flood of approvals are coming through finally We got approved for both 129F and 130 today. Now have to decide if we want to do K3 or IR1 route......We pray that all the others get your approvals soon.
