I hope they've finally opened the box of September I130s. Put us out of their misery.

BTW: You can see how CSC slowed down after September. October only had 18,000 approvals while September had 55,000 freakin' approvals.

Me and Sachinky Both male Petitioners.... same dates but not approved... I think since we are male petitionres our background check is not cleared.

OR go figure.

Sachinky... maybe ur husband and I will have to go for sex change in order to get approval... ask your husband about it, maybe me and him will get discount price if we get it together. UGH.

I went to the state department website, here is the info there for "Police Records"

Indian Police Clearance Certificates should be obtained as follows:

* All Indian IV applicants aged 16 and above, residing in India, should obtain police certificates from the local Passport Office. These are usually more dependable than those obtained at a local level and indicate that the subject had no serious criminal convictions on record at the time of passport issuance. Applicants whose Indian passport was issued within the past six months may present just the Passport Office Police Certificate, and need not obtain additional police clearances.

* Applicants over age 16, whose passports were issued more than six months previous to visa application, must also obtain a police clearance from the District Police Office serving the applicant's place of residence.

QUESTION - My wife passport police verification was done on end of Nov 2009, now, waiting for the passport.

I don't thing we need the any additional PCCs (see bold text).

But I heard that sometimes, document processing people in embassy just reject the file due to missing PCC from district police office.

Any one has experienced this, please add your valuable comments or suggestions.

WHOA!!! CONGRATS to MsSheeka and LOLAs! Thats fricken awesome news. You guys must be over the moon!

I just spent the most splendid 10 days with the love of my life. We had an amazing time and very little sleep- soaked up all the time we had. She really didn't want to go back to the US, but I convinced her otherwise as she has musical shows she must perform in!!

However, we did come to an agreement that, if we do not receive NOA2 by end of Feb, then she will come back out here!

So, either way, only 2 months to go haha
