it would have been nice if you have families to celebrate with, for those of us who naturalized and have all our families in abroad there is no joy of the holidays. This is the reason why we paid hard earned dollars for our beloved adopted country to get some our beloved families here in order that we may be happy in the holidays. An approval will make us hopeful, and when we are ignored throughout the holidays we carry our depression throughout the entire happy period, and when we get it after the holidays we take it but the magic is no longer their. So, let the USCIS staff enjoy their holidays at our expense, let them make others who filed after us in October and November have a happy holidays since they've got three heads and we've got just one. It is no wishful thinking to want our approval in December, it is our right since we filed in august and somehow got sept 1st date. It is a shame on them for being prejudice by processing some newer applications while the old ones are left behind. Yeah, i can go on and on, it will not change anything but please choose your words carefully since this is a very sensitive issues, for some of us, like myself I have always worked on the holidays for many years not because I particularly liked to but because I would rather be at work and bury my loneliness at work than to spend it with other families when mine are thousands of miles across the ocean and wish I could be with them or they could be with me. Again, please choose words carefully, when you have a loved one abroad and your hands are tied due to financial and bureacratic conditions the last thing you want to hear is all this excuses WHEN YOU SEE PEOPLE WHO FILED AFTER YOU GOT APPROVED while you had no idea where your file is hanging. Pls, pls, pls, don't get me started because there is a lot running through my head. Last night I dreamed that a USCIS staff told me tha my file was in TIBET while it was just sitting on a desk next to her and she was pulling other because she felt she might need additional work to go through mine... that is how messed up this situation has made my life. Pls choose words wisely, it is always easy to give advice to others since if we are not in their shoes 100%

If this nov to jan months are gonna be like last years, then we are in for good 200 days +.

No

Like I said on my previous post, expect a surge in application approvals for September,October and some applications prior to it to be processed around January-March (which still fits in their approcimate time frame) with most apps for September filers possible receiving their NOA2's or RFE's around February.

In general, November-December is such a busy month, and with a lot of holidays coinciding in those months along with the anticipation of a much celebrated Holiday, expect productions to go down a little bit. I mean the fact that most September filers are not getting any notice is a clear give away that they are not working on these particualr set of I130's, so for those waiting for NOA2's before X-mas are just wishful thinking (And there's nothing wrong about that). It would be better if you guys would just focus your attention on your family and enjoy the holidays. Put all your anxieties and worries aside, and start fresh next month because 2010 is your year :)

So you'd rather delude yourself? I mean by all means, if you want to go into a depression mode rather than accept some friendly advice, then do so, its your freedom. Im just laying some reality to some of you guys. I did'nt know most of you would take it the other way, ive been through what you all went through, and I know how easy it is if most of you would just take your mind away from it for a while and live your life. ***shrugs***

why don't you just mind your own damn business and keep your advice to yourself, if u read some of my previous posts you will realize that i do not need you to tell me when to expect my approval. It is easy for u to run your mouth here since you are not in any one's shoes. Pls give me a break and stop the insult.

Great attitude there, Im sure you'll go a long way in this process . And no, I never insulted anyone, you just have a pretty bad comprehension and a very negative perspective in life, but do what you do best and spread that dark enery around.

Yup. Since I filed in September and my NOA is dated 09/29 -- I'm an official September filer. Kind of on the cusp, so I visit the Octoberites as well.

I won't bet against that. I hope that is the case.

Come on, CSC. Show me some love. I'm dying out here.

Hey Lashbanda--welcome and please update your profile/timeline so we are all on the same page.

I have a question, guys -- Does it somehow hurt your case if you call a few weeks or so to ask for an update? I mean I know the calls get logged- - not sure if they get recorded. But I'm just wondering--it's seems cruel to think that someone would dump a file to the bottom of the list to teach the petitioner a lesson in patience just because they called a few times.

I am really tempted to bug my husband to call them but I don't want it to be held "against" us in some way. In 3 months, we've called 3 times. The last time he called the rep said that the website glitches were fixed and to check that instead of calling.

Anyone gave them a call recently? I know MsSheka did. Anyone else? No news/updates?

Clearly CSC is awake -- judging by the flurry of NOA2 for the September K-1ers in the last two days. As you can tell, I'm very jealous.

thanks a lot, i can see how much positive energy you are spreading here especially when you have no petition in waiting and you happened to be blessed with microcephaly. i wish u all the insults that u can come up with and good luck being the best English comprehension and human perspective teacher that you can be, if u had been that good maybe i would not need to be typing now. since u have shown no decorum in minding your own business and hesitates not in sending annoying words and cannot come up with better words without being offensive, i give back to you every piece that you can muster. As you carved each words for me or anyone that do not find your words clever may your share be 4/5 like your 4 fingers does when you point an index finger to others. I also pray that you encounter challenging moments that will make you learn some of life hard-balls in order that you may grow in wisdom and learn that hope and wishes are never wrong, and sometimes that is all you have to make it through the day.

Im not sure about the calling, but that is the only time my case was touched was when i called. I might have been approved by now but i got an RFE...but didnt know about it until i callled to check status 2 weeks after they sent it...no indication of the RFE...no online update. Goodluck to everyone.
