my husband did check it from the bank..said the money order was cashed out on Sept.8..

but how come we haven't received the hard copy of NOA1 yet? its really annoying:( ...and i really feel so upset

do we need to do something? or just wait and wait..?

do you think this is just normal? bacause i think it is not! i don't know whats takin it so long!

my husband said hes goin to call uscis today..havent talked to him yet, i just came home from work..

anybody who can give me any word of wisdom to erase my worries pls..

i keep on praying and praying..i really hope it comes in the mail before the week ends..huhu

i bet he is a superstar cute that he is i know he is still too young but is he learning english or bisaya? he should learn both my friend's cousin is also half american and grew up in CA but he speaks fluent ilonggo. when he came here for a visit, it was funny how people were staring at him speaking in ilonggo when he doesn't look filipino at all. i think it's great he speaks his mom's dialect he even swears in ilonggo! lol

hey there jrd. what address did you guys put in the form? my experience, it took us almost a month to get ours cos the post office returned our NOA1 hard copy to USCIS and said it was undeliverable. i dunno why. maybe cos my hubby's apartment has no mailbox or something. we called USCIS why we still didn't have our hard copy but the rep my hubby talked to on the phone was rude to him & said to wait 30 days plus other uncalled for comments. so we waited again until one day when i checked our case status online and there it was they said it was undeliverable and so we called them again and just said to mail everything to his PO box. we got our hard copy a few days after that.

I made dumb mistake on I130 form.

I have all the things right, double checked alll of it.

BUT, I have put in my naturalization certificate number wrong (added one digit more in the middle)...

All other information is correct.

Lets hope for the best.... Did this ever happened to anyone out there?

still no good news for us

we sent our application via UPS so we used the courier address written on the I130 instructions. the one with an "ATTN:FBAS"

and we did put the complete home address. my husband never had any problem with his snail mails. he received everything i mailed to him in that address. so we really don't know whats goin on with our NOA1 hard copy..

when my husband checked on the bank, they just said that it was cashed out on the 8th of sept..

we dont even know our receipt number..so how then can we checked it online?have no idea..i bet you have your receipt number abbie that's why you were able to checked it online saying it was undeliverable, right?

the only thing that makes me calm and think positive is that the check was cashed out which only means that our I130 package was received and is already in the hands of uscis right?

but still, we need the NOA1!!!huhu

hey there deep..compared to your case, i think we have a bigger problem than yours..

in your case, you have written the certificate number incorrectly..but ours was that-..in that portion where you have to write your certificate of citizenship number, what my husband wrote was his passport number in place of the citizenship cert,number..because the big problem is, he doesnt know his citizenship cert.number.. The certificate was lost.. He acquired his citizenship through his mother but he has already obtained a cert.of citizenship in his own name. However, when his/our mother passed away in 2003, he moved to another place, so maybe those certificates were misplaced and now he doesnt know where it is.. so thats the story...

see? bigger than yours right? he just put the passport number,place and issuance because my husband was insisting that maybe it will just be ok since what they just need is for him to establish his citizenship and said that the passport is an acceptable evidence for that..so we'll see what the uscis have to say about it..

i think if there is any incorrect or insufficient info in everyone's application, they will send a notice or a request for evidence to the applicant, known as the RFE.. as soon as you receive it, you will just have to send them back what they are requesting for and thats it..you will just have to give them the correct number by then..

so better, maybe we can keep track on this matter together, right?

but for now...my current problem is our NOA1...we havent receive the hard copy yet..

hope it will come very,very soon..its been 3 weeks..OMG!

Finally got started with this journey! Just mailed in my I-130 packet yesterday, now all I can do is wait. I've read tons of threads and posts here, and I hope I get everything right the first time and avoid a dreaded RFE, wah!!!

Hey, I'm new to this site, we got our NOA1 on September 7, it took only a week to come. Not bad! Well I'm from around Chicago so I'm assuming that's why. Hope this process isn't as complicated and long as I fear, it sucks living in limbo! Although it kind of rocks living in Costa Rica....minus the bugs and heat.
