Mobius!! Glad to see your font.

You know what peeves me?? Just when I think I've come to sort of level of acceptance that it is going to be 123,458 days before we receive our approval, I check my timeline. ####### happened to our approximate adjudication date?? Now it reads that there are not enough RECENT approvals ... ohhh FFS. I give up.

Hope you're all well ... and relatively happy. B)

HHH rang them on 16th about my photos. They were delivered that because we received the confirmation but they haven't been added to our file yet. No touches at all. Then he tried to ask if I could ring for information and they said NO only the petitioner unless he gets deployed. They also told him the systems were down ... LOL.

I had a look at the USCIS websites approvals and receipts for September. So I figure it is going to take 3.9 months for our approval which puts us at 10-16 January. Yes, I was bored ... *sigh*.

Check processing times from the USCIS home page. I changed the chart type to volume and it tells you exactly how many petitions were received and how many approved etc. It is currently showing up to September.

Here you go, buddy. It's a bit hard to read though. Or that could just be my brain cells shutting off when I view a graph.

On the left of the chart is a legend that tells you yellow is pending, blue receipts etc. (or is green receipts and blue approvals?) ... not sure but it is there!

Sachinky - it is definitely obsessive and bit fun trying to create a formula that works for your case!! LOL

Ok, by pending, they mean only pending I-130s right? Does this mean at the BEGINNING of September 2009, there were 51,000 cases pending or at the end of the month?

So in September 2009, CSC received 21,000 odd cases. Completed 55,000 cases. And were waiting on about 19,000 people to respond to their cases. Do I understand this correctly?

Can someone with superior graph interpreting skills view it?

I guess only time will tell us what they were doing in October/November.

My physics teacher would grade this graph as a F. No explanations, no last updated time. She'd spit on it.

Ok Guys, I think I cracked the CSC code: The numbers released by CSC are for close of the month of Sep

Sep Pending = Aug Pending + Sep Receipts - Sep Approvals + (Aug Customer Action - Sep Customer Action)

= 93620+20458-55534 + (9958-19466)

= 49960 (This is close to CSC pending of 51217 as of Sep close)

If CSC maintains the same approval rate of 55534 in Oct, then they can clear all their backlog of 51217. So, there is a good chance of Sep filers cases being approved by end Oct or end Nov. In all probability, our cases are already approved.

The above paragraph could be confusing. If we are already approved by end of Oct/Nov, why are we not informed about it? I can only imagine that CSC batches up the responses to customers. They may not release the approval information ona day-by-day basis. On one fine day all Sep filers will recieve their approval notices (or RFE notices for the not so fortunate ones)

Thanks

Looking at the trend, it shows that I130 approvals dipped during the months of Oct-December while a burst of approved petitions spiked on Jan-March. I guess using the past couple of years as a reference its most likely "Majority" of September Filers will receive their NOA2's around Jan-March of 2010.

Ill tell you what guy's I work in a very, VERY, VERY similar work setting, and Ive noticed that the producitivity around November-December drops because of holidays here in US (Veterans day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and finally New Year). And additinaly, for some reason people's focus or attention are pre occupied by the barrage of Holidays before the year ends which understandably and slightly affects performance at work.

That being said, I do hope you guys receive your NOA2's this coming month, but to be honest with you, most of y'all should aim for January, Fenruary or March next year before the service centers hands out your NOA2's.

I dunno, man. From my bare understanding, if we file a I29F now, our I130 also gets pulled out of the queue to line up with the former. Eventually, both are then approved on the same day. Doesn't that mean we lose the time we've been waiting for the I-130?

God, I hate this process. It makes me want to scream.

I think we might see SOME activity leading up to December 25 as people usually try and work quickly before the holidays kick in. If not, it'll be in January.
