That's awesome. I wish my husband could come visit me but airline tickets are outrageously expensive, plus, I doubt he'll get time off from work.

Aus2USA what a nice early Christmas present. I would love to go see my husband but I need to be at his interview so I am saving money for that. He is talking about not letting me come because of all the bombings in Pakistan the last few weeks but nothing could stop me from going to his interview.

I wish I could go visit my husband since flights are ridiculously cheap at the moment. I just checked my timeline and has anyone else noticed but our supposed adjudication date has moved from end of November to Jan - Feb 28??? #######??

There goes my Nov 25 date that I had in my head. That concerns me - at least with NOA2 we can process at our own pace. Without it, we're just in limbo. Now I am getting depressed.

OUR JOURNEY SO FAR: (dd/mm/yyyy)

18/09/09 - CR1 NOA1

16/07/10 - POE LAX (256 days NOA1 to interview)

27/09/10 - Aussie/American bun in the oven due May 10, 2011

06/01/11 - Submitted change of address online to USCIS. Mailed I-865 for sponsor. Neverending!

05/05/11 - Bouncing baby boy arrives

10/07/12 - Sent I-751

13/07/12 - I-751 NOA1

Even if they are done with I-130s for the year, it should not bother us. FOr USCIS, the year eneded on Oct 31st

What do you mean, done for the year? As far as I understand, those restrictions don't apply to spouse/kids of USC. Please someone, tell me I am correct in my assumption?

Yes you are correct. they processed tons of cases before oct31st. I am sure u know ppl here who's cases were approved in month or 2 or even faster.

Now is there new year just started, they dont have to rush i think. Thats why they will process our cases with in 5 months their projected time frame. For me perhaps i'l expect some news from them in jan 2010 or feb 2010.

The way I saw approvals in sept and oct i was expecting my case to take 2 months, but the way things are now. I dont think so.

An approval in November? This calls for a celebration. It does prove that CSC is alive..................common CSC way to go
