i had given up on checking uscis but thought, ah what the heck... my days are filled with prayer

guys i sent the I-129F today after listening to my dad in my head i went ahead and called USCIS to see what i needed to submit..they said a completed I-129F my NOA1 and marriage certificate and that came from an officer because they are so clueless everytime i call the reps don't know anything so i request to be transferred to an officer but then i noticed they have not been approving K3 either so now i have no idea what's going to happen and i'm not sure if what i submitted will be accepted because i have not heard of anyone just sending NOA1,I-129F and marriage certificate for K3 but i guess time will tell

Wow! Ballsy move! Will that not just extend the wait? Man I hope you get some good news soon! You've been nothing but positive and helpful to others. I will feel extremely bad and guilty if somehow mine comes through before yours.

No need to feel guilty i would be happy just to see an APPROVAL for ANY CR1/IR1 filer right now i just need them to do something

i will love to c an approval too, i haven't seen any for some weeks, it makes me feel like they are not doing anything with the applications @AUS2US i think you might get something soon, a touch on 10/27 more likely an approval in the making, hopefully not a computer glitch!

If only Lola. I guess, they've picked it up and changed the address which is a good thing. I cannot see them placing it to the side and not processing it for now... You'd think? But then again- expect the unexpected with USCIS! I really need to get this ball rolling!

This sort of thing happened earlier in the year as well, when March-May filers were NOT moving for the life of them. Maybe something similar is happening..like work visa's. Let's pray that's not the case. Good luck guys! I'm still gunning for you! :3

I dont know how this works, some ppl get approval in 20 days, i have seen one get approved in 12 days after NOA1. woot? and some in 3 months and some 4 or 5 months. and they say they process apps in the order in which they are received.? maybe in their internal system prefrence naturalized citizens are 2nd priority. well who knows.

I am sure mine will take exactly 5 months to generate a RFE for some BS. and add responce time to that.

I have had a long journey from green card to become a citizen, I applied for naturalization in 2003 and had interview in 2004 and guess what, became citizen in NOV 2008. yes took my N400 5 years. so for me why my I130 should be processed quickly? I dont have even one reason to think that.

I expect the worst.

Adding myself to the grieving list. No news on I-130 approvals. So, I went ahead and filed I-129F for K-3, for whatever it is worth. Afterall, it is free

I did not fill-in the Chennai Consulate name

I gave my address instead of my spouse overseas address.

Sent an updated I-130 on 09/15/09............Hope they accept this I-130 instead

When we first filed the I-130, I went ahead and scibbled "NOA2 received" on a random day in the future (this is on my work calendar at the work I resigned from on friday. Funnily enough, the day I scribbled was this coming tuesday. Let us see if my vision was correct. So far, so good with the new 'touch' =o)
