I agree with you gpmaan I expect to wait 5-6 months before getting NOA2. If it comes sooner for me I'd be very surprised.

Totally agree. Im not being a pessimist but expecting the worst and hoping for the best mentality always works out for me, hahaha.

I know the feeling but keep the faith my dear trust me they have to take action soon  just try to find things to keep your mind off this process i know that its not easy but you have to try this process is very emotional and stressful before you know it time will start flying by so fast once you take a break from USCIS

BTW the online status is sometimes no help because lately people are getting NOA2's by mail and the online still shows "initial review" :bonk:

I get up EVERY morning, extremely excited and thoroughly convinced that TODAY will be our day. I check VJ throughout the day hoping for our or even someone else's approval because it'll mean that people at the CSC are at least awake. And I can take comfort from that.

At the end of the day, I curl into the fetal position and cry into a pillow for a good half an hour before I fall asleep.

Why I never learn is beyond me.

Yeah, I stressed out a whole lot the past 4 weeks and I decided I can't be doing this to myself because its affecting my productivity at work. I have to accept the fact that this journey will be a marathon and not a race, so there's really no shortcut here, bottom line is we all have to wait, hopefully sooner than later though.

just try to find things to keep your mind off this process

Yeah, need to kick back the old habit of taking my camera out in the open and start taking snapshots of interesting andd colorful objects :D

thats how my mindset was before and when i got approved, i panicked!:blush: because i was expecting to get a word from USCIS early november. now i am scrambling getting my docs together.

Yeah? lol. Well, I still have to make sure im on top of things, because we all know we can't slack when it comes to this matter :D

Well something is cooking on my side MsSheka.

something weird though. in my uscis web site portfolio i have total of three cases.

1 my Green card application. last updated was jan 2002, thats when my green card was approved. ( <--- this date was changed to oct 26 2009 )

2 my naturalization application. last updated was july 2006, when i became citizen ( no change )

3 my petition which i filed for my wife. last update was sept 2009. ( no change )

today when i checked the petition i filed for my wife is just the same no change BUT the case when i got green card in 2002 was updated instead it said last updated oct 26 2009.

this i dont understand, instead of working on the petition i filed for my wife, they started working on my 7 year old approved application, or is this normal? i am just going nuts. Anyone has any idea?

i am realizing that now  i am not a procrastinator. i don't like cramming. so i am frustrated with everything right now. but i can't just take a leave of absence whenever due to my kind of work :( i have to schedule everything. it would help if i could do everything online but not everything is do-able online :( i am hating my job right now because it limits me preparing and organizing all my docs
