Hey. Did any of you send in support affidavits along with your I-130 package? I sent in three third-party (my mom, his dad, my uncle) statements but not from the USC petitioner. Is that mandatory?

I got different answers on this. Someone said it is not required, someone else was RFE-d for it. Did you guys send in anything detailing how you met, proposed, evolution of relationship etc.?

Since I have nothing new to obsess about, I am obsessing about any little thing I can find.

Hi Sachinky,

My lawyer had both me and my husband send in our own affidavits along with those from family and friends. Now stay calm. We had to do it because our marriage is outside the norm. I am older then him and we got married after only knowing each other 3 months. I don't think every couple has to send those. Only those couples that USCIS might see some red flags. I hope this helps you.

Thanks for replying Carolyn. I hope we don't get RFE'd for that. I really hope we don't. I mean we dated for a year and a half in college but we're only 22 so maybe if being too old is a red flag, too young might be too. I hope our parents/relative's affidavits are enough. Or do they think that parents will lie for their children? I should have asked some of our college friends and my roommate. She can certainly testify to the nature and duration of our relationship based on the number of nights she was sexiled. LOL.

Congrats on the new born...

As for me... Well, I can no longer handle this #######! Providing all goes well, I will be booking my ticket for California for a week or 2 over xmas!!! Fingers crossed!

Be careful about traveling here. I know Australia is a Visa Waiver Country, but you have already submitted for CR-1 visa. You could be denied entry. Do some research first....

Hate for you to waste all that money on a ticket and not be able to visit with your wife. Maybe it would be better for her to visit you...

Yeah, I agree with David. Maybe it's best if she could visit you. You don't want to waste all that money. Unless you can prove strong ties to the land.

Don't worry you will be fine. We had to go all out with our I-130 petition because of our red flags. We sent emails, 6 affidavits, pictures of our wedding, pictures of me with his family. Instead of just one trip to Pakistan I made 2 trips so it would look better to USCIS. Pakistan is a dangerous place for Americans but love will make you do anything. After all of that I messed up and spelled my mothers name wrong on the petition. I worried myself sick about that until I decided to let it go and now I just worry about how long it will take to get the NOA 2.

Hey Mike - I would love to hop on a plane for a week or two but am reluctant because knowing my luck, I'll end up with a CBP officer who is having the worst day of his life and get turned back. Nothing stopping us from travelling on the VWP but it is up to the CBP at POE and I am not willing to risk that. I know lots have travelled with no problems (showing ties to their homes) but for me, the risk is too great. My g/f did it and she had no problems so it's a personal choice I guess. I would prefer he visited me while we wait.

Baby Sarah Angcon Schneider was born at 4:30pm Philippines time on Thursday the 15th. She is 6.9 Lbs and 15 Inches long. :thumbs:

NOA-2 come quickly...Hi everyone Ok just found this orum of September K-3 filers...I sent mine in on Aug 31 but they recieved it on Sep 3rd. So. that is where I am at the present time. I am on pins a needles as I am sure all of you are. My princess and I was married on June 17th (which happens to be my birthday!) never forget anniversary :) I pray that everyone gets there NOA -2 soon. I know how muh I want to see my princess. It would be awesome if we get it and her interview happens right around Christmas so i can fly out during school break and be there with her....Here's to oping!

Why are things so slow at the CSC?

I just wish someone would get some notification or approval so we'd at least know they were awake there. After a quick flurry of approvals, things seem to have come to a standstill.

Just hang in there :). It's very possible you could get an approval before the end of the month. Compared to previous months, it seems like things have actually been going faster at CSC, just give it a bit more time ^^.

10/15/2009 - contacted NVC to attach email address to case
