Finally got started with this journey! Just mailed in my I-130 packet yesterday, now all I can do is wait. I've read tons of threads and posts here, and I hope I get everything right the first time and avoid a dreaded RFE, wah!!!

Yeah! I definitely hope approvals go fast. I've seen some recent cases get their NOA2s in as early as a month or two, wonder how lucky we would get, haha!

Aug 5, 2013 - Arrived at NVC Building

Aug 13, 2013 - Got the NVC case # via PHONE

Aug 14, 2013 - Got the Invoice # via PHONE

Aug 15, 2013 - Send my DS-3032 via Email

Aug 16, 2013 - AOS Pay

Aug 17, 2013 - Got an email to print the COVER SHEET

Aug 21, 2013 - send the AOS overnight at NVC

I also sent I130 on 09/09/09. Received in Chicago LockBox on 09/10/09.

How do you all know when your I130 touched? I have lot of signature with I130 - touched.

How do you add email to the submitted I130?

I also sent I130 on 09/09/09. Received in Chicago LockBox on 09/10/09.

How do you all know when your I130 touched? I have lot of signature with I130 - touched.

How do you add email to the submitted I130?

hi deep. when you get your NOA1 receipt number you can go to uscis website and register there and add that receipt number to your portfolio. that way you will see if someone from uscis has "touched" (the date on the last updated column changes when they "touch" it) your petition :)

I wish I could check my status more often, but no can do until I get my actual NOA1 hardcopy and the USCIS number. The number they printed on my cashed check is pretty distorted. Hope it comes in the mail today!!

well i consider myself a september filer. mine was sent august 29 via UPS and they confirmed the delivery on the 2nd of september.

Until now, we're still waiting for the NOA1 hardcopy! however, dont have any idea if it was already received by uscis and was assigned or forwarded to CSC..? :unsure:

is there any way i can check on that? :unsure:

MOBIUSRAIN said- check cashed out? how did you check for that? really want to know if it was already received by USCIS..

am a lil bit worried because we still dont have the receipt notice :(
