Tourist VISA - Canada to USa

Well, this is a weird one.

My friend is HKG resident (not citizen ) - has Canadian Passport.

He wants to come to SFO for three weeks for a conference and to visit family.

A possible jump is HKG to SFO - but -

will he need any type of visa?

If tourist visa to USA, where can I find info for HKG residents?

He's been a resident of HKG since '94 - has current Canadian passport valid till NOV 2010.

As long as he travels with his Canadian passport he will not need a visa.
