We arrived a bit early for our 11:00 appointment so we waited in the car until 10:30 before going in.

They were running behind, so we didn't actually get called to the interview until around 11:30.

1. We were sworn in.

2. He asked for our IDs

3. He asked Marlene some of the questions again from the I-485

4. Discussion about how they had to use her father's last name as her middle name based on Philippine rules (We had kept her mothers maiden name as her middle name on the application).

5. Asked for 2005 tax return and recent pay statements

6. He checked to see that the security checks had been completed.

7. He asked for the vaccination supplement (found it already in our package from the application)

8. Asked for bonifides of the marriage and we showed him military dependent ID, credit cards, bank cards, health and dental insurance, beneficiary printouts, utilities.

9. He looked at some of our pictures and asked who some of the people were in the photos.

10. Told us he was approving us and we could expect the GC in the mail

11. Explained removing conditions.

Total time in the interview: about 15 minutes.
