I leave soon to see my honey for the last time before her med and interview.I wanted to make sure she has everything before i leave.So,here it is.

Med exam

4)waiting on the email of the appointment letter,but i hear you dont have to have it?

5)her passport

6)she is bringing her xray she had 6 months ago from her work.With the results of her med exam.

Interview

Prepare all your docs in a 3 clear books and put index stubs too

First clear book Title is "IDENTIFICATION PAPERS" includes

a.)NSO Birth Certificate,

b.)CENOMAR,

c.)NBI CLEARANCE,

d.)POLICE CLEARANCE,

e.)TERMINATION OF PRIOR MARRIAGE) if Applicable to you and to your fiance

Second clear book Title is "AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT" includes

a.)Form I-134

b.)your Fiance's Employment Letter

c.)at least 3 years Tax Return w/ W2 copies

d.)Fiance's recent pay stubs - copies

Third clear book Title is " EVIDENCE OF GENUINE ENGAGEMENT" inludes

a.) Renewed Letter of intent to marry

b.) includes all the evidence or proof of continuos relationship (engagement ring receipt,chat logs,email, snail mail, cards, money remittance receipt, and put all the evidence of your prior meetings

if you do this you will feel confident in your interview even the interviewer they will give you it happened to me before and it will happen to you too! Just pray and feel confident and dont feel nervous! and you will be fine.....

when do you leave to meet her and when is the interview? i suggest you send it to her overnight so she can double check and see if you missed ANYTHING ( i personally am nothing but thorough) as two heads are better than one. so if and when she HOPEFULLY receives it before you come in the phils to meet her, and you missed anything at all, then you can bring those additional stuff when you come visit. gluck

AND OH-- put those western union receipts in your back pocket and not with all the files she will present. i heard that here in the phils, most consuls kinda raises eyebrows when they find out that money is kinda involved. so unless asked for, thats when you present it i am going to do the same and has searched VJ for info about this gluck gluck !!

There are actually different opinions whether to show them those Western Union receipts or not. There were those who showed and got approved, and there were those who didn't, but got approved as well.

Oh i forgot, she has eight 2x2 passport pics.

I leave sept 8th, will arrive in cebu the 10th.Her med is the 15th and her interview is the 23th.

What is that ds 230 part 1 and 2? is that for a different process?I had filled that out, i read so much stuff till i turned blue.Kinda get your mind wired reading all the forms, and getting them mixed up with different filers.

They dont need my real birth certificate do they?She has it, but i was thinking of giving her a copy and getting my real back.

Oh, i hope that is enough time for them to send the results of her med, they person she made the appointment with on the phone told it was.And has anyone ever brought previous xrays,and med exams to the embassy and they counted them as real?She is a teacher and has to have a yearly, so she is bringing that paperwork and xray.

They only need copy, if they ask to see original show them and get it back
