You guys here are absolutely amazing.. Ive been here in this forum since 2006 and the support u extend to everyone here are awesome..

On the 9th of November, .Me and my son will fly to Manila for almost 2 hours and will do the medical this week. and Interview next week. I think im more scared to do the medical exam coz of the vaccination compared to doing the Interview.. My greatest fear by the way are Needles,. lol

WOW.. looking at the list, there are only 9 more of us from VSC in the thread that are waiting! Come on VSC, you can knock out 9 today.. and CSC.. Could you just give us at least ONE! Please???!!!! Then it would really be a big party!!

I've only been on this site since September, but I have read a lot of the other threads for particular months, and I have to agree that the people in this group really are outstanding when it comes to giving support and communicating with each other. Makes me very, very glad to be a September filer!

Ha.. my greatest fear is needles too.. and spiders.. and if I were ever in a doctor's office, and saw a spider while they were giving me a shot, I think that would be the end of me

You're so funny. I used to be soooo scared of shots, that I would lock myself in the bathroom everytime I had to take one. Though I guess i was lucky that my mum is a nurse and was deffinitely better then to have a stranger doing it.... She is a lil obsessesed with taking blood tests to see if everything is ok, so eventually i had to get used to it. And what really helped is to think of my baby, to remember that a shot is a piece of cake compared to all we've been through and to imagine that he is with me holding my hand Oh it always helps!

Ney, I don't think your hopes of me getting my NOA2 soon are as high as my hopes.... Seriously, I'm losing my hair for christ sake.

JennFuat, I know the last thing you want to hear is for someone to tell you to be patient but if it makes you feel better: think if you were in my position, robbed of everything and is still waiting for NOA2 while people who filed AFTER me already got theirs!!!

I know!! Every time I get frustrated I think about the people at VSC who filed before me and are still waiting.. AND.. I think of the people at CSC who have yet to get the first September approval... I just know the first CSC approval is coming soon. I can feel it.. and I am hoping for the remaining 9 on here from VSC.

I should not get so worried about mine being lost somewhere.. I am sure it isn't.. and I should just sit back, wait and keep cheering for the rest of you

Exactly JennFuat. Always be thankful for what you have, as opposed to dwelling on the things you don't have, or worse, have no control to change. Today is thursday, hopefully between tonight and tomorrow night, SOMEONE wiill be dancing.

OOOKKKK.. I am turning into an old woman. Worked my butt off today, doing inventory in one of our stores, and I am actually going to go to bed NOW. It's only 7:30

Here are my instructions to all of you

When I wake up in the morning, and log on this computer, I want to see great news like we did this morning. If that does not happen, I may just have to drive up to Vermont and have a talk with them.. Don't they know I get more work done when I wake up to good news? Heck.. if CSC would give us just one approval I might have enough energy to finish all of that inventory in a 24 hours shift .. just bring on the coffee!!

yes, my honey proposed and gave me a ring...last new year's. though i have to admit i was not the best recipient - i sort of freaked out and was like, "what are you doing???" whoops. but my divorce took forever and it still wasn't final at that point so i felt uncomfortable. but the bottom line was that i knew i wanted to spend the rest of my life with jose luis. through all the good and all the bad, until i keel over and die. so there you go. now every trip i see him he asks me again, and of course i always say yes. sometimes i ask him too.

I laughed hysterically at Mathew because I didn't know what to do. He actually had to turn my head towards the ring FOR me because I was so nervous. Love his little heart for putting up with all of my weirdness.

Yay so it looks like we've got lots of good news today, but there is still more to come!!!!

I'm off to call NVC, pack, and freak out about my trip!!! yayyyyyyy!!

POE is port of entry. But once you get the visa you dont have to worry. The consul in Brazil said that they cannot deny entry to someone with a k-1 visa.

I know what is POE. I would like to know if I can entry anywhere. It is important cause I will fly with my cats and the closest airport is just a few minutes from us.

Thanks Jenn for the good vibes for us CSC folks. My gf Andrea will be in Colombia for school until March anyway, so a quick processing won't get her here any earlier, but I'd like the peace of mind of having this approved.

VSC folks, you're paving the way for us, and I'm hoping for detailed reports on those interviews!

Guys..... they say "no news is good news" but I believe we post good and bad news in this forum.

I told you guys that I was in front of my house....

OMG! I came home from school @ 9pm and saw my wallet neatly placed on my steps!!!

Yes... Although the culprit got away w/ over $400 cash PLUS my (already signed) disability check of $340, I am happy I got my belongis back. Now, I pray that he is stupid enough to attempt to deposit the check!

So everyone who wanted to wake up to good news, there you go.

Now back to NOA2 news, nothing for me yet.... :-(

I called USCIS and was basically told I can't speak to a live person or moan and grown to anyone UNLESS 60 days has passed with no response/decision/update/touches. So exactly 2 wks from today, I'll be calling again.
