September 2009 K-1 Visa Filers

I must say it is kind of disappointing that we haven't had a new NOA2 today. I been expecting all of us to have it by now.

Day isn't over yet.. so I am trying to remain hopeful.

I'm also wondering if we may have some other people out there who have actually gotten it and it the USCIS web page hasn't updated yet? Didn't we have one person who got the hard copy before they got a text or an update on the web page?

I am not so confident in how quickly they update everything.. Every time I have called NVC I am told something different and now, just trying to find out the exact date my file got to the consulate has been impossible.

I was told by NVC it was sent out on 10/27.. I have a contact in Turkey who has told me that it is there.. EVERY file mailed to Ankara between 10/27 and 10/31 has been delivered.. yet today, when I called DOS to find out the date it was delivered I was told it hadn't been delivered yet and that it could be another week. She also told me that it was sent out on 10/27 with next day delivery. So.. next day delivery takes 6 days plus wait another week? I know there was a Turkish National Holiday, and then the weekend.. but what she said just made no sense.. not to mention that someone in Ankara has told me it's there, but can't tell me what date it got there.

Looks to me like computer records are not being updated. So.. maybe everyone should be watching their mailboxes instead of their cell phones and online accounts.

I just received packet 3!!!! YAY! But... they spelled Danial's name "Daniel" Ugh.. I hope they can fix that pretty easily. No NOA2's today????????

What did you receive as the Petitioner? Was it in an email, mail??? You went out a day or two before me, I think, so I am hoping for somethign soon.

Of course, DOS says my packet hasn't reached the consulate yet .. so who knows.

I got the email, not Danial..but mine was the only email they had. And.. as far as the name, it hasn't been that way on ANY of the paperwork that we submitted, so somebody at the consulate goofed. I am hoping once he sends in all of the info, that they will correct it. Because.... there is nobody to contact there.

I hope you guys get yours soon. The consulate got the package on Friday (Aus time) and it is Tuesday there now...so really quick once it gets there!

Nope, still not there! Seems like an awfully long time for it to travel from VT to NH. I'm sure it's sitting there just waiting to be put in the system. Silly mail room boys! They need to get a move on it! Don't they know I'm just going to hold up their phone lines every day until they tell me it's been sent away?

wow, me a blonde? now that would be something. you know once in college i actually attempted to bleach my hair blonde...but my hair is super dark and even after tons of bleaching the best i could get was orange hair! it was not a good look for me. though i imagine blonde on me might actually look even worse!

Funny, I had orange hair in college once too.. was trying to dye my hair back to its original color to see what I actually looked like with dark hair ( I've been coloring it since I was 15).. Orange was not a good look for me either

Finally left my office and came home.. thought I would give it one more shot looking for some good news before I called it a night, but I see nothing has changed in the last hour

So much for horoscopes. No good news from any distant friends today. Though I did get an email from someone I know in Macedonia. Hmm.. wasn't giving me any news though.

I'm feeling really encouraged that some of your applications and approvals are moving along so quickly. I'm very impressed with my level of patience right now, but seriously, I don't know how long that's gonna last!!!
