getting a little depressed, but trying to stay hopeful. it's been a really bad news, bad luck kind of week for both jose luis and myself...really hope for something good to happen to turn it around!

If it's any consulation we've had a week from hell too. First the email from the attorney put a damper on things. My daughter went to the hospital in labor that had to stopped because she's not due until Dec. 17th. Our bathroom is completely gutted and it's taking longer than they thought for them to get it together. To top it all off we have nothing but rain for the rest of the week.

However, this week is almost over. Take a deep breath and keep your chin up!!!

We are all cheering for you here!!! :thumbs:

No worries my son was never touched until he found out he was approved.

Thanks guys for all the bday wishes and goodlucks! Alexbarrow don't feel alone, I haven't been touched since then either. PacienciayFe, I hope today will bring good news for us both and everyone else. With only 10 remaining in "initial review" we should be getting something pretty soon. I just hate that the weekend is approaching.

Just so everyone knows, and are not confused by the numbers, the 10 remaining in "initial review" are just those with an NOA1 date of 9/24.. it does not include everyone else from September.

I really have a feeling one of you is going to get good news today! I keep checking and hoping!

Congratulations!! I've heard that happen a few times this week..

I am working on all my papers for packet # 3, and had written down the Case # NVC gave me but couldn't find it. I haven't received a letter from them yet, but my file has already gone to the consulate. I just called them to get the number again and asked if I would get a letter from NVC saying they had received the case and it had been sent to the Embassy. The woman said, "No.. Not usually!"

So.. should I be looking for a letter from NVC or not? Seems like everyone else is getting one.. I want one too :)

Guess it doesn't matter. My file is already in Turkey :)
