Yeah, you're right. I'm off Tuesdays and Wednesdays every week. But I usually wake up 30 minutes early to call him anyway, and then fight to go back to sleep. Something about his sleepy voice in the mornings just puts me in the cuddliest mood. Makes my day better. But this morning I was like screaming to the top of my lungs so he didn't have no choice but to be up immediately!

So what time did the text actually come? Hmm.. maybe you shouldn't answer that. My 9:15pm text had people stalking the web page late.. yours could have them up all night!!!

Mine came at 7am on the dot. Both email and text. My NOA2 was dated for yesterday, so maybe they sent out a batch of approvals notices at the end of the night and first thing in the morning. I know my moms office might close a 4:30, but she comes home and has to release her batches(she's supervisor of physicians billing for our hospital), and sometimes keep working. So maybe the same thing applies here.

WOE is ME!! Actually I should be whining, I had a major melt down moment last night, trying to arrange a wedding in the US when I have no friggin' idea when and trying to herd cats to arrange a ceremony in Italy next September.

BUT

It really is cool how we get as excited as if we had gotten our own. And it restores our hope that VSC really is still working..

NVC RECEIVED MY CASE!! I have a case number. I called on the 23rd and yesterday and both told me they didn't have it. This lady said they had it for awhile

Either way, YAY! It hasn't gone out yet but she said call in a week to see when it leaves.

So two times you were told they didn't have it.. and then today she says they've had it for a while? Did she tell you what date they received it?

I was told mine was received on October 23rd and has not gone out yet.. but on 10/23 there was a package sent to the consulate that weighs 3 pounds 1 ounce.. the exact same weight as my packet.. I suppose it is possible there is another packet going to Turkey that weighed exactly the same, but I have heard of people getting packet # 3 and NVC still saying it hasn't been sent out yet... so maybe that package was mine. Who knows...

I think waiting for the packet to go from NVC to the Embassy is more stressful than waiting for NOA2....

Jenn, check on this, I did a search and I see a Turkey one today... I'm not sure whos it is:

I hate this DHL site.. I have been trying to find this shipment, since yesterday, to start tracking it but it just doesn't exist anymore. I saw it yesterday, just before you did.. but haven't been able to find it since.

I keep getting different things with the date ranges. Sometimes it shows two packages to Turkey ( one is 2 pounds one is 5 pounds.. don't think either of those could be mine).. but sometimes it doesn't show these either.

Even when I put in the number for this shipment it says no shipment found.

It's driving me crazy!!

So my alarm goes off at 7:15am this morning so I can call and wake Mathew up for work. And my blackberry is flashing that I have a message. And what kind of message do I have? MY NOA2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called him and told him, and I was like dancing in the bed.

I am sure it is there! There are people who were approved after you, who are already at NVC. I called several times in the same day and got different answers each time.. same thing yesterday when I was calling to see if it had been sent to the Consulate.

I have seen multiple posts from people who say they had their interviews already scheduled but NVC would still be reporting they hadn't received the file. It has to be there.. and has probably already gone on to the consulate!

Just a thought.. when you are calling NVC you are talking to a real person and not using the automated system right?

K1's are not put in the automated system, so you will always get the response that it has not been received yet.

I'm sure you already know that, but thought it was worth throwing out there.
