I'm really beginning to think that maybe VSC is slowing down. Can there really be ZERO NOA2s today?

maybe just Zero from the people on VJ.

If you remember Karen's stats, there were 55 K1 visas with a 9/24 date.. there were only 5 of us on here, or at least only 5 who had updated their time lines. So potential of 50 other people with the 9/24 date that aren't on this site.

So.. how many people, for September TOTAL, are out there? Who knows. I am sure there are approvals, just may not be people who are on VJ

Well I hope those who aren't on VJ are having better luck than us!!! I'm not even going to try the whole system that was figured out before for checking statuses of peoples cases. I know I'd get way too addicted!

I want to see an NOA2 today, I don't care what month it's from. I just want to know that VSC isn't slowing down!

I guess that's a plus to being with the CSC we KNOW we aren't going to possibly get approved so we dont bother to keep checking :) I figure if I get it by mid january I'm happy! I like getting on VJ and reading everyones info, experiences, excitement, frustrations and right now that's enough to tide me over!

So I was taking a break from these budgets ( Yes.. still working on them. Spent too much time on VJ today)..

I thought I would call NVC to see what they would say about my wonderful, little packet. I called earlier today, but what the heck.. I checked again anyway.

This time I was told it WAS sent today.. :)

But the only one I can find on the DHL page weighs 4 pounds and mine only weighed 3.

Has anyone else noticed that the DHL page doesn't always pull up the same info? If I put in a date range of yesterday and today it only showed me something like 12 packages mailed out.

I put in a date range of 5 days and suddenly I end up with a listing of 80+ packages sent out between yesterday and today. Confusing.

Anyway, looks like it was sent :)

And one more thing while I am on this rant... I find it very difficult to believe that VSC has only approved one application belonging to VJ members in the last two days. That just can't be..

Yes, I know the CSC people are probably telling us to stop complaining.. but .. I'm complaining about CSC too.

When I was in Chicago, this last week, I met with someone from DOS and complained a huge amount about the torture this puts us all through and can't something be done??? She works with the Work/Travel visas, and has not control over all these other things, but she at least was willing to listen to me moan...

Yes, I was one of the lucky ones.. but I was complaining for all of you.. VSC and CSC.. it won't do any good.. but at least someone heard the words.

I find it hard to believe there were no approvals today either BUT maybe, just maybe, they were resting today from doing so many approvals over the last week or two... So that means they'll be well rested and ready to do some approvals within the next few days, hopefully by the end of the week. I'm still hopefull.

I'm really hoping the one you found is mine :) because then it is probably going to be there in a few hours :) The one I found was registered at the DHL facility at 8:30pm tonight.. I saw the one you did, earlier today, but now I can't find that one again.

Every time I do a search I come up with something different.. but can't find the one we both looked at earlier today.

I keep hoping every day that someone is going to "touch" our petition. It is true, this waiting for the NOA2 is the hardest part and it's only been 6 days since they received our packet! I'm going to be a basket case by the time a month rolls around!

Somebody please touch ALL our petitions! (In a good way! :>)

FredErika, waiting for the NOA2 definately sucks, I also wanted you guys to be aware that, in some cases, like in my case i never got a "touch", my NOA2 just arrived . (my case actually never showed up on the website until after i recieved the NOA2). Thought yall might have wanted to know that, because when i was waiting i was going crazy because i hadnt gotten a touch

Hi Everyone!! I wish I could read all of the replies! I hope everyone is well.... I am having school drama and will for the next couple of weeks. My fingers are crossed for all of you.

Yes, it is currently 4:30 am and I'm stalking VJ & USCIS but of course, nothing today. Tomorrow is my bday and in 10 days will be my fiance's so hopefully either one of us will get a nIce bday gift. Hint, hint NOA2! I have a feeling about this week but hell, I've had a feeling since VJ users on the thread kept encouraging me to be faithful and patient. it's a new day, goodluck to everyone!

YEAAAAAAAAH! I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU!. I swear I am just as excited for you as when I got my own!!!!

Be thankful that you live in the same, or similar, time zones... makes doing the wake up call much easier. Turkey just changed their clocks back so now I have to wait until almost 1:00am to make my wake up call!

Oh wait.. I think you have Wednesday off, so you are getting up early on your day off to do it. That's sweet :)

But I bet this morning made it soooo worth it.

I'm doing a little dance, in my kitchen, for you... ( and of course my cat is staring at me like I am crazy)

Yeah, you're right. I'm off Tuesdays and Wednesdays every week. But I usually wake up 30 minutes early to call him anyway, and then fight to go back to sleep. Something about his sleepy voice in the mornings just puts me in the cuddliest mood. Makes my day better. But this morning I was like screaming to the top of my lungs so he didn't have no choice but to be up immediately!

Come on Karen! I want to see your NOA2 today!!! Maybe if you whine today like I did yesterday you'll get yours. Or maybe you've already got it, and just haven't checked your email. So get upppppppp.

So what time did the text actually come? Hmm.. maybe you shouldn't answer that. My 9:15pm text had people stalking the web page late.. yours could have them up all night!!!
