Hi everyone!

Frenzy, so sorry about the job but a better one will come by.

Karen, thank goodness Jose Luis can now visit his family.

As for us, we are going through a very difficult time :(

Please pray for us to have peace, love, faithfulness and longevity in our marriage...

Im sorry to hear something like this. I hope that everything will be good and that you can say to each other that you had just a few bad days and a lot of nice days. (F)

We had also a very difficult time...its not easy to change almost everything in your life. To live with somebody is a big challenge and we have to say farewell to so many things we're not used to share, but, at the end, we're sharing our lives with the ones we deeply love and can't imagine our lives without them. sending prayers and good thoughts your way krystle. I think most if not all of us can relate in some way. we are all trying to learn how to do this, it's a huge life change and so much stress surrounding the process. we have had some pretty horrendous days in between the amazing blissful ones, and those are scary. but hang in there - always remember you love each other - and you'll get through them.

Oh no Krystle. Whatever it is, doesn't sound good. Sending plenty of thoughts your way to get you through this. But you're tough and he's tough. If you can get through what you're already been through you can do just about anything. I just know that everything is gonna be okay and that you'll work it out. :luv:

Hello everyone!

I haven't read this thread in a while now. Haven't written anything, cause I don't really have any great news. We still haven't applied, so.... don't even wanna think about it.

Jenn, god to see you optimistic and strong as usual. Maybe you can predict something good for us :) Though we would have to apply first I'm sure... and for now we can't...

Krystle, we've had so many hard days.... mostly me, cause I don't like many of the things in here or cause I think my husband is a little naive and he believes whatever people promise him... It's been really hard and I thought about going back so many times... I'm not sure if love is enough, when you eat shitty food, neglect your health, have no friends, no money, no car, no job and if you're still able to say that life is beautiful and at least we have each other.

Anyway, I don't know what problems you two have, but trust me whatever it is, it can always be worse. There's nothing that cannot be solved. Or almost nothing. If both of you wanna make it work, it will happen.

I had many pages to read, so I don't remember all the events. Congratulations to everyone who passed their biometrics, who got their EAD etc. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting. Hope everyone gets the green card soon, cause I know how hard it is to stay home without being able to work....

Has anyone in here started working yet? I'm wondering how hard it is to get a job, being a foreigner and taking into account the economy....

Frenzyheart, good look with the job, school and hope you have a very beautiful wedding!

take care everyone!

4lovewelive, its great to hear from you though its not great to hear you're having a bad experience. One of my Facebook friends posted on her page that she thinks her life is falling apart and she doesn't want to live anymore. When I called her and told her what I'm going through, she quickly realized things could've been much worse.

When I think about all that you have said, things could've been much worse for me and you so just try to hold the faith, stay strong and know that better days are ahead. We love you!

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to pop in and say Hi while I was still well enough to do it. The LAST chemo session was this past Friday. It better be the last.. that was the plan and I told the doctor we had better stick to it.

I will go for a CT Scan on October 1 and if all still looks well, then it's just a few scans a year. If not, then it's back to the chemo cocktails.

I have a pretty busy fall planned, so we can't deviate from the chemo ending plan. NO NO NO NO NO

I can fell this time is gonig to be the worst I think. Trying not to feel that way, but only two days out and it's not looking good.

Krystle.. from what I have read it sounds like things aren't smooth sailing for you right now. Read what Karen, A & D and everyone else writes. It's not easy for any of us. Just today Fuat and I had another huge fight... it's hard enough to adjust to this new life without having to deal with the chemo, or not being able to apply for AOS like 4lovewelive and the coutnless other problems we all have.

At least once a week I am sure FUat is getting on a plane and sometimes.. I wonder if it woudln't be better.. but that's just the stress and chemo talking.

DON'T let this get the best of you... you love each other. You fought for this.. you just have to keep fighting for a while.

Going to go lay down now.. hopefully will be back on tomorrow or in a few days.

You are all still in my thoughts.

Hi Jenn! So happy that this is the last chemo and by God's willing, it will be the last! You're sick now but you'll feel better soon ;)

Me and Glenoi are just going to have to take it one day at a time and see where it goes from there but its very hard and to add to it all, I'm still stressing that we're not pregnant yet :(

Did anyone else feel a little strange, or sad, at seeing the 2010 September Filers thread? I know it sounds weird, but I saw that thread and felt a little heartache.. they are just starting out, getting to know each other, starting to stress togther, mail out fingers and toes, etc... and we are almost at the end of our Journey.

Just a few more Green Cards to go... It will be one year, this week, for Kayla, Karen, Krystle and me... come on ladies. I want to see one of you get the GC on the anniversary of your NOA1.

I know money is a little tight for some people right now, but what would you think of us actually trying to get together after everyone has AOS done? It might be too hard for some people, like Frenzy, who are so far away.. but Krystle, Kayla, Karen and I aren't THAT far from each other. We could pick some place in the middle and meet..

Atlantic City? Washington DC ( Ok.. that's pretty close for me... but just throwing places out there).

What do you think??

I am great at finding cheap places to stay, and cheap ways to get there... so for those people who are tryign to rely on one income right now ( or family) we could do this cheaply and have a nice weekend!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend and I am goign to be looking for those AOS approvals on the 21 ( for Krystal) and 24th for Kayla and Karen

My one year passed back on September 11th. I did get a little nostalgic when I saw the 2010 Sept CSC filers pop up - and I think I'm the only CSCer that's still around from last year. Everyone else is married, haha - even those that were delayed! Hell, someone was in AP at Montreal for almost 4 months, and even she is married before me. It's okay, though. October 10th is right around the corner... and things are finally falling into place. My dress is bought, we reserved his tux today, our rings are being worked on.... all we have left is the marriage license, but we can't get that until we're actually in New York. We're even leaving Iowa on Thursday so that we have time to go pick it up on Friday. Fingers crossed that there aren't any issues, lol.

A meet up would be awesome, but like you said, might be pretty difficult for me... especially since I'm still working on the job issue, and have school... and I'm already taking the trip out to Niagara Falls for the wedding itself. I can see what I can do, though; it just depends on time and money. We're not going to be able to file for AOS until the end of January as it is now, lol. I would love to meet you all, that's for sure.

I hope you all are doing well and that things are going okay for you all. <3
