For Kayla.. I predict you will have EAD and AP by September 15th.. Green Card will be approved by October 3rd. You will have AP hard copy in hand a week after approval. Green card will arrive in the mail a week after approval.. EAD will arrive two days after Green card.

For Krystal... I predict you will have EAD and AP by September 30th... Green card will be approved on October 12th. For the others.. AP Hard copy will come in the mail 5 days after approval... EAD will arrive 14 days after approval. Green card will arrive 6 days after approval.

OK... I am going to love to see how this works out. As for the lottery numbers.. those are all mine. And if I win.. we can ALL retire :)

Well.... I was correct but I was WAY OFF. I said you would have EAD and AP by September 15th.. which is true, but wow you were a lot earlier than I thought you would be. I will stick with my other predications. You will have AP hard copy in hand in one week.. your are going to get Green Card approval by October 3rd.. and it's going to show up before the EAD does. So.. you should plan on getting GC aproval within the next 14 days ( HEY.. it's still before October 3 :)

Krystal, I am sticking with my original predictions for you. But to be honest, I think you are goign to be early as well.

I have to say something really important to everyone.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

This thread was started at 2:30pm on September 1 2009... Can you belive it's been a year?

Krystal and Karen ( my date twins) I really hope one of you gets the Green card on September 24th.. that would be too great. Wait.. Did Jose Luis already get his? I have to go back and check.. but if one of you got it on our "date" that would be so perfect.

NEY.. are you out there somewhere? Does anyone know what happened with her daughter in law? Last I heard they were getting ready for the wedding.

Ney.. thank you so much for starting this thread. Really.....

Happy September everyone. A year of stress... but what a great outcome it has had.

And when are you all coming to Kings Dominion to visit me ? :):):):):):)

I can't believe it's already been a year. It doesn't feel like a year. But we've sure been through everything they can throw at us, and we came out of it looking like stars. ;)

Nice to hear from you, Jenn! Hope you are doing okay. Jose Luis hasn't actually gotten anything yet. EAD was approved so it should be coming maybe in the next week so i am desperately hoping that means the AP will come soon too. We've been planning for him to go visit his family Sept. 23rd but now we don't know if he'll have AP in time. :(

I really hope the green card will come soon. can't believe it's been a year since we started this whole process together...

Kayla - CONGRATS on the EAD/AP approval!

I cannot believe it's been a year already. Holy moly.

Here's something funny: Matt actually got a letter at his parents place stating that he had to report for jury duty on September 27th. LOL. That's going to be a little difficult if he can't leave the US!!! So now we have to send a letter stating why he can't, and I figure I'll scan some of the paperwork (like his 1-94, visa, and the page that states he can't leave the US) and send it along with the letter. We're both pretty amused by it, lol.

OMG I've been trying to reply since forever and every time I pick up the phone it eithet rings or I get a text message.

Anyhow, let's see if I can remember everything...

First Jenn you beat me to the punch, I soo had it in mind to say happy birthday and we should've started the 2nd thread that same day but since we're still in September its not too late to start it. I think Jenn should start the new thread :)

Kayla Congrats on the speedy approval, you were fast with the k1 NOA2 but slow to get the visa so I hope you get the green card soon. I got a touch yesterday, I'm excited and not excited because sometimes a touch means nothing. But I'm hoping to get an approval text Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday.

Karen I sent my pinky to immigration so you can get your green card so it should be in the mail on its way to you ;)

I can't remember anything else

Enjoy your weekend!!

I just re-read this and realized I typed the wrong name. Kayla, Karen and I all filed and got NOA1 on the same day.. Krystal actually filed before us..oops :)

I'm confused about somethign Krytal wrote.. why do we need to start a new thread? What am I missing?

Are we sending pinkies and toes again? Mine are gone, sent them all last year.. but Fuat is here now, so I have a fresh supply. I will start sending ASAP.

Happy Labor Day everyone.

Well, I didn't get either job. :( As much as it pained me to do so, I went back and talked to my old store manager at Arby's about getting my job back there -- only with more hours. It's not the most glamorous job in the world, but it's an income at least. In other news, we're going to "go to battle" and get his SSN this week. I'm taking in a page from their website that states that K1's can get SSN, so there should be no arguing about it. Also - I go in for my final dress fitting this Sunday, and we're going to go get him fitted for his tux this weekend, too. We're still hunting for a wedding ring set; I'm starting to wonder if we'll find one within our budget that we both like. :( Other than that, things are okay.

I hope things are going well with you all! :)
