Jenn, it's so great to hear from you! I'm so glad to hear the chemo is almost over. Cancer BEGONE!

Hey, you seem to be doing really well on the predictions - can i get some too??

I know all about the fighting stuff. Our cultures are soooo different and we have had a really hard time adjusting. Sometimes it seems like we fight all the time, sometimes we are so happy we can't stand it. All the other stress we are dealing with right now doesn't help either.. don't give up.. and try not to get too frustrated. It seems like we are all goign through this adjusment.

Frenzy, as Jenn & Krystle both stated - you are not alone. This is a big adjustment for all of us couples. We've had to work really hard on our relationship and the ways we communicate. Have patience and faith, and always remember why you went through all this in the first place. I can tell you that it does get easier. Just be kind to each other.

Awww, you all are so sweet and wonderful. I'm lucky to have people that I can turn to and know that they understand exactly what I'm going through. I tried to talk to my mom a bit about it, and while she tried to help, it didn't really end up helping at all, but I didn't have the heart to tell her that, of course.

Jenn - THANKS FOR THE PREDICTIONS Hopefully mine come true, hehe. And yeah, I live right in Des Moines, Iowa, which is where the office is. Still hoping above everything that we get transferred, though.

Things are getting easier, even if only a little each day. The plus side is that we have lived together before (up in Canada, when I was going to school up there) so it's not been a complete blind side, but down here, it seems to be a whole new ball game, and I seem to be striking out constantly.

OMIGOSH YOU GUYS. Things are so slowly falling together, and the last few days have been AMAZING!!!

1. I GOT MY DRESS! My mom and I went to David's Bridal yesterday, and I tried on exactly 4 dresses. The down payment was an issue, but I got back to my house, and Matt called his parents and asked them! So now, I just have my alterations appointment on the 12th of September, and EEEEEEEK. ALL DONE!

2. I'M STILL IN SCHOOL! They approved my appeal! THIS IS SOOOO WONDERFUL!!!!

3. I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW ON THURSDAY! Granted, it's just Best Buy, but IT'S BETTER THAN NOTHING! *fingers crossed*

4. Our venue AND hotel are booked, courtesy of his parents. God, I don't know where we'd be without them sometimes.

I cannot believe how many things are going right. Things don't go right for me normally, so this is a nice change of pace. I hope it keeps up! T-MINUS 1 MONTH, 2 WEEKS, 3 DAYS! YAY!!!!

Well.. HOLY TOLEDO. I was just sitting here a few hours ago, and my phone rings. I normally don't answer numbers I don't know, but I went ahead, since it could have been something about my dress or the venue. Turns out, it was ....

ANOTHER JOB INTERVIEW. 2 in one day. Seriously? What the heck?! LOL. I realized after the fact that this second job is only seasonal, so I'm hoping more for the job at Best Buy, but still... I hope tomorrow goes as good as today did.

How did the biometics go Krystle?!

We are moving to Indiana next week. Kenyth is out of the Marine Corps... someone ahead of him accepted the package - if they didn't Kenyth would have gotten it. That was the only option he had to stay in at this time because his contract has been up for awhile. Either way, hopefully he will get a job when we get to Indiana (I'm sure he will) and worst case scenario is he reenlists back into the marine corps. (He'll start at the same place he was when he left, so not a big deal). Though I have been very sad, I don't really want to leave South Carolina.

We still have the money for AOS..but still can't apply until he lands a job in Indiana, as we need the employment proof as you all know.

I am so glad to hear everything is going well for everyone ... and Kayla I hear you guys are house hunting..I hope that works out!!!!

BTW, biometrics went fine, in and out in 20 minutes, the last updated date changed today so here's to waiting to see how Jenn's prediction plays out

Thanks for the well wishes! I've got a second interview at Best Buy on Tuesday with their general manager. Kinda nervous about this one, but the way I see it -- I've been through more stressful interviews! If nothing else, the interview in Montreal has taught me a level of calmness with things like that.

I had my first photoshoot today (I'm an aspiring photographer, hehe) and the pictures turned out amazing. Granted, it was only with my nephew, but we had so much fun at the park and the beach, so it was worth it.

I hope you all are doing well. Glad biometrics went quick for you, Krystle, and I hope Kenyth gets a job when you get to Indiana, Maggie! (I'm curious to see if her predictions turn out, too! )

Hi everyone, today is the day that I FINALLY go to dmv and change my name

I don't know why I feel so freaking attached my own last name and I didn't even grow up around my daddy! Sigh, I'm just gonna go do it all today, dmv, ss card, bank AND freaking ($110) passport!!! Grrr!!
