Well, we need something to make the wait exciting ( feels so strange to be done with this and have nothing to wait for.. :) )

So.. I am going to predict the following:

Kayla will get her biometrics letter first.. BUT Krystal is actually goign to have the Biometrics appoinment first. BOTH will be transferred to CSC... but Krystle will get notified of the transfer first.

Once this all happens I will give my predictions for the rest of it :)

Jenn

Well Jenn, so far you've been somewhat right. Kayla DID get her biometrics letter 1st BUT she did have her appt before me abd I still didn't get my appt letter yet. AND I got notified of the transfer first. C'Mon with your next prediction.

Congrats on the transfer...no interview for you two...woo-hoo

Regarding average times for biometrics letters... seems like the local offices vary quite a bit...but for sure you will get it sooner rather than later.

Sooo Mathew and I were taking a nap and then all of a sudden my phone goes off. Now I'm the type of freak that has to see my phone RIGHT NOW when something goes off on it. So when I look at it, what do I see?? A text saying we were transferred to CSC.

Jenn, you could probably make some big money off of your predictions. Care to predict the lottery numbers?? :innocent:

Today has been horrible. In fact, the last week has been crappy for the most part. I don't know if it's because I'm stressed over everything or what, but I'm having a hard time adjusting to him being here. Usually it's the other way around. Don't get me wrong; I'm glad he is. I just ... I don't know. My wedding has gone from everything I've dreamed of to running off to Niagara Falls just so that his parents can go. My schooling has gone haywire. I doubt I'll be able to get a job until January at least because I need to focus on getting my schooling back on track, unless my financial aid appeal is denied, and then HEY I can get a full time job because I won't be able to go back to school. All the while, he's happily sitting back and isn't phased about anything in the slightest. I want to just pull my hair out, to be honest...

I'm sorry for ranting about this here. I really don't have anyone else I can talk to about this. I don't even feel like I can tell him about it because I don't want him to worry, nor do I want to cause problems between us. Aren't things supposed to be better now that we're together? :crying:

Frenzy, I know all too well what you're going through. Like you said, you love having him here but grrr! My moment was when the 90 days passed and we didn't have the money to file for aos, I cried. While he was in la la land wondering what's wrong. Frenzy, plain and straight: men don't worry, women do! So take a chill pill, sigh and have faith that tomorrow will be a better day. Goodluck ;)

I was looking at the biometrics letter and noticed it said 7/29 and the envelope is dated 7/30. Today is 8/19, could it have been at the post office all this time? I called 2 weeks ago to correct his name and we recieved confirmation that it was corrected BUT the biometrics letter has it incorrect so I think it was at the post office all this time. Ugh, now I gotta call them again to see if they'll send out a new appt letter or tell us to correct it when we go to do his finger prints...

Hi Everyone,

It feels like I have been gone forever! Was out of town for a few days, then had chemo # 5 ( only one more to go.. God Willing) and now just trying not to be sick everywhere I go :)

It looks like I missed a lot, and can't even begin to comment on everything, so let me see if I can comment on what I can remember ( chemo brain does not let me remember alot these days).

Frenzy.... glad POE went well, sorry to hear your wedding is not turning out the way you wanted. Mine didn't either.. with my diagnosis we had to cancel all family thigns, but we are goign to have a family wedding in May of 2011.. will celebrate a year of marriage and a year of being cancer free ( WE HOPE!). I know all about the fighting stuff. Our cultures are soooo different and we have had a really hard time adjusting. Sometimes it seems like we fight all the time, sometimes we are so happy we can't stand it. All the other stress we are dealing with right now doesn't help either.. don't give up.. and try not to get too frustrated. It seems like we are all goign through this adjusment.

Kayla - Sorry to hear about RFE.. don't kill anyone. Are you still thinking you may be coming to Richmond to look for jobs sometime soon? We just had some great condos go up for rent in my complex.

Karen - Remember when you seemed to be one of the last ones to get your NOA1 on the K1.. and then you were one of the first to get an interview. Relax.. it will happen.

Kyrstal, Kayla and Frenzy... predictions... predictions...OK.. so I was wrong on one of them. Not bad if you ask me. Frenzy you live in Iowa? Am I correct or is the chemo brain confusing me? I would think Iowa offices would be not so busy, but that depends on where you live.... so I am goign to predict that you ARE transferred to CSC.

For Kayla.. I predict you will have EAD and AP by September 15th.. Green Card will be approved by October 3rd. You will have AP hard copy in hand a week after approval. Green card will arrive in the mail a week after approval.. EAD will arrive two days after Green card.

For Krystal... I predict you will have EAD and AP by September 30th... Green card will be approved on October 12th. For the others.. AP Hard copy will come in the mail 5 days after approval... EAD will arrive 14 days after approval. Green card will arrive 6 days after approval.

OK... I am going to love to see how this works out. As for the lottery numbers.. those are all mine. And if I win.. we can ALL retire :)
