hi guys, miss you!! frenzy_heart, hope POE went well. maggie - hope all goes well with kenyth's test/interview! kayla - bummer about the financials but awesome that you turned it right back around. :)

i'm a little down because it seems like things are moving for the other june filers but not for us. a bunch of folks have already received or at least were approved for EAD/AP. But I know we've just got to be patient...all things in their own time...

It seems like the processing speed of AP/EAD depends upon the local office and what backlog or staffing they have to process the paperwork.

Ours is Hartford, CT, and we were lucky thez worked quickly, but CSC is another story, but its just the nature of the process.

Hopefully your local office will pick up the pace and get you folks processed for AP and EAD :goofy:

The RFE made it there but I freaked out for a minute when I checked the tracking and it said that a notice left and that they would return to sender after 5 days. So of course I called Customer Service and asked them why they would leave a notice at a PO box and not just put it IN the box. He said it was because it's express mail and that they will just put a little card in the mailbox and the mailpickerupper person will just have to walk to the counter and get it.

So I guess I can breathe easy again!

Well it looks like USCIS got our RFE response. I got touches on both the EAD and AOS and an email saying that it is under RFE response review. I guess that just means that they are looking to see if I submitted what they asked for and then they'll start processing again like normal.

Thanks! I hope that darned biometrics letter comes soon, too! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! :)

As for how things are going.. well.. it's been a weird sort of adjustment. I think we're both still getting used to the fact that he's not going back to Canada this time. He keeps slipping up on the little things, like him saying "I hope that comes to Canada..." in reference to the new smoothies from McDonald's. I just kind of looked at him and said "Why? You live here now, silly." It's nice, but getting unpacked and settled in has been very trying on both of us, and we've been fighting a lot the last few days; more so than we usually do, but it usually doesn't last too long.

When the cycle of little fights and getting along little fights getting along wraps us in its vortex of misgivings we break the cycle with intention and determination.

We do something completely different from the activites that are triggering the fights and once free from triggers come completely clean about the 100 little things that are bugging us.

Next, let the healing begin (L)(F)(L)

Confucious say: The fight is never really about what you are fighting about... :D

Oh Frenzy, I think we all went through the phase of being esctatic that they're here but then the fighting begins when they say, ask or do something out of the norm that we consider to be silly. I believe it was Karen, as well as myself that commented on that. My hubby would ask the same questions over and over again

But just remember good times are coming!

Everyone, this thread is almost ready to start over and I can't wait to see a fresh one september 1st. Will it have the same name??

Who's going to restart it??

Hi everyone, just when I gave up all hopes about our case, I got an email saying our case was transfered to csc!!! I'm so excited. Now time for the biometrics letter. Which I think we'll get next week. Kayla you're next!

Let me go back and check if Jenn's prediction was accurate. Speaking of which, she probably went back to work, gotta email her.
