We are about to begin doing the job search for Mathew so we may be visiting some houses in Richmond in the next month or so. I can't wait to get out of mom's house. It's driving me a bit crazy!

Congratulations Krystal!!

By the way, If all goes well we will be in NYC on August 13th. Have a family reunion, in Red Banks, New Jersey, August 11th - 15th and planning on taking the train into the city on the 13th. I doubt there would be enough time to try to get together, since the family schedule is kind of tight, but would love to actually try to meet you!!!!!

Kaya.. when are you coming to Virginia???? Do you ever visit your brother?

Fuat's nervous about this trip. He will be meeting my 11 aunts and uncles ( my dad is one of 12 kids) and my grandmother... and it will be a little overwhelming. But I think it will be fun.

Hope everyone is doing well.

I will love to meet you even if it's to say hi!

Oooooh, I wouldn't want to be in his position! But he seems like a charmer so he'll be fine!

I know what it's like to live with family.

So I called USCIS to find out why the heck they cash my darn check and they didn't send me a receipt notice yet. So right then and there I realized I spell G's last name wrong on 1 of the forms so the rep said she'll correct it. Lets see what happens when I call back next week to check on it. She also gave me 3 receipt numbers that neither of which works so I guess I just have to wait.

Oh and uh, they saod thee noa was mailed 7/27...

So Maggie has been living in the states for what, 3 months now? And just today it dawns on me that I have a friend living on the same base as her. I don't know why it never occurred to me until now.

We haven't had any more touches since the 26th and no biometrics letter. I know it's bound to take some time, but y'all know how impatient I get!

Wow, ok so Jenn lives close to your brother, if I'm not mistaken; a friend lives on the same base as Maggie, what about me? No family/friends in or around new york, new jersey?

Got my noa today!!! So Kayla, now we can obsess over the biometrics letter. Knowing my luck with the k-1 noa2, you'll most likely get yours 1st! Goodluck to us!!!

The receipt numbeer isn't working online but I can wait, as long as I know they have it. Now it's time to figure out how I'm going to make the corretion to the spelling of his name.

Well, we need something to make the wait exciting ( feels so strange to be done with this and have nothing to wait for.. :) )

So.. I am going to predict the following:

Kayla will get her biometrics letter first.. BUT Krystal is actually goign to have the Biometrics appoinment first. BOTH will be transferred to CSC... but Krystle will get notified of the transfer first.

Once this all happens I will give my predictions for the rest of it :)

I can't wait for that strange feeling of being done with uscis (atleast for 2 years)!

Ok, I like your predictions, I can live with those! :D And as you can see your 1st prediction was right, Kayla DID get her biometrics letter first. Being that her appt is 11 days away, I doubt I can get my letter in time and have a sooner appt than her but lets see. :clock:

AND I actually am worried that we'll get chosen for an interview but as I said before, lets see.

Charleston is 2 and a half hours away so I think we'll just wait for the appointment date. It's only 11 days away so I don't see it making THAT much of a difference. Now if it were 3-4 weeks away we probably would though.

I've heard that lately it's actually FASTER to have an interview so I don't know which one I'd prefer. Generally I'd love to get out of another one of those fantastic interviews, but if it gets him his greencard faster I'll do what I gotta do.

Let's just hope that CSC picks up and that we both get transferred! But at least we're in this mess together. :luv:

Getting an interview is faster, because you get the green card days after the interview but it can be a blessing and a curse so I think I'll wait...

Congrats on approval Jenn!!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kayla, yay on the interview...GOOD LUCK!!!!

As for us, we still haven't even applied for AOS yet..still waiting to hear if he's still going to have a job at the end of this month...lol...and I have yet to apply for my social security - which is too late now - I have to wait for my EAD to be approved during AOS to apply for it..good thing you don't need it for AOS. We have AOS ready.. it's just his end of employment date will be on his Commanding Order Letter that we have to give for proof of employment.. so we will probably end up with a RFE or denied because we won't meet the financial aspect of having a perm job .. We'll know in a few more weeks.. and either way it'll be fine - it's just we're stuck in waiting until he's re-enlisted or out so he can land a civilian job...

We finally got a car last night too..because he finally got his licence lol ...nothing fancy but it was cheap and runs.. This is going to save a lot of headaches. Financially we had the money when AOS was due at the end of june start of july - but we had the miscarriage and then His original contract was suppose to be up last month..but we got an extension.. so we were in the same situation we're in now..waiting.. LOL

It'll all work out though.

Again - I haven't been ignoring you guys... just a lot trying to get done still.- Dealing with my bank in canada is giving me a headache too.. I wish they had a branch down here. Apparently they didn't receive two checks I sent in for payment.. so they froze my account..which didn't go over well considering the girl who sublets from me has to deposit money into my account to pay rent...The apartment people said it has to come from my account UNTIL my lease is up.. It's very hard to keep an account open when you have no income going into it or way of depositing money into it.

Other than all that stuff though, living here has been amazing, and I love being married. Kenyth is an amazing husband. I'm very grateful that everything has worked out for us..and for all of you guys.

Maggie just make sure that you re-fill out your AOS with the latest forms. Lots of July filers got their packages returned(not RFE's) for having out of date forms. I'd hate to see you have to wait longer for something like that.

ick...so sorry Kayla! seems like it's usually either related to the medical/vaccination stuff or financial (2009 tax returns, w2s etc). I can't remember - what did you send in for the medical stuff, did you do the "fill out part 2 & 5" of the medical form option or just send the vaccination form?
