I'm glad to see you're in a good mood, Jenn! My hubby(I love saying that) adores theme parks so he'll be sooo excited to come to Kings Dominion. One of my cousins went there the other day and it made me think of you and smile.

Since stupid Kentucky made Mathew hold his learners permit for 30 days even though he didn't have to(as clearly stated by the DMV in Frankfort), his drivers test appointment is next Tuesday. He'll be so happy to have his drivers license.

AOS package goes out on Wednesday since mom is gone until tomorrow night. Booh!

Hi Everyone

Sorry I haven't been around. :P .. Been pre-occupied, but thought of you all often.

Kayla, I am so glad you are married, and I LOVED the wedding photos.

My AOS Package is also almost complete (ha..good thing since my 90 days expires here really soon) - had so much going on that it also went on the back burner for awhile :S

We may be moving here really soon too. Not sure. Kenyth's Military Contract is up at the end of the month. He applied for reenlistment but we are not sure if his package will be approved or not. If it is we still have to move either way lol. This makes filling out the financial form needed for AOS very very interesting.

I've also finally cleared up the last bit of spotting yesterday since the miscarriage.. yay. It means we can officially start trying again. =)

Anyway, I really hope you are all well, and please know if I am not here often - it's not because I no longer care, it's just because I've been so occupied =(.

Hi everyone, I don't know what happened. I usually get an email everytime a response is made in this forum but nothing...

Anyhow, I hope we're all doing great and if we're not doing so well, just know it won't last forever. The good times will soon come! :star:

We got married in Virginia and we didn't sign the marriage certificate either. Actually my name was mispelled on the certificate, so I'm not even sure we're really married :)) Anyway, we gotta order copies by mail so I guess we will have the right name on them...

Jenn, good to see you active in here. Hope the whole chemo process will be easier and easier for you. I'm thinking about you....

I have been here for 5 months now, staying home and I'm starting to lose my minds. I was wondering if I can get any kind of job if I dont have a GC or a SS yet.... Probably not.... I dont really know what to do... Im an active person and Im not used to staying home for so long.... I'm pretty dissapointed with the whole situation in here and really sad that my husband cannot find a job.

The economy is really bad and I'm sorry to hear about your struggle but 1 thing that me and hubby did to make the AOS fee seem a little less stressful was save toward it. It took us a long time and everytime we saved it, we spent it but we have ity now and will send it by monday. Goodluck

Just stopping in to say Hi.. hope everyone is well.

3 chemo sessions done.. three to go!

Hey when are you all coming to Kings Dominion ? :):):):)

Yayyyy on the chemo!!

We need a little mini vacation since we didnt have a honeymoon so we definitly want to come before they close for the winter.

It's nice to feel well enough to be in a good mood.. AND.. I just found out that Fuat's EAD and Advanced Parole were approved on Friday :)

Green Card can't be too far behind.

:dance::dance::dance:

Booh!

I LOVE saying my hubby too!!!

I'm right behind you on the aos package.

For the last couple of weeks I've had the money and package complete and was LAZY to go to the post office! Can you believe that? And on top of being lazy, I kept spending bits of the money since I make less in the summer.

Maggie, it doesn't have to be sent out by the 90 days, USCIS only recommends it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that after a miscarriage, birth or c-section, the wait time for intercourse is 6 weeks? Maybe I'm wrong but I love your enthusiasm and I wish you all the best.

TIME TO RANT!

We're still trying :crying:

We went to Atlantic City and saw a psychic who told us we'd have 5 kids!! :o:o

But she had me in tears when she said she sees that I have problems with my cycle, that I'm going to have to go back to the doc again to regulate it and that I won't get pregnant until september

Well, I DID have to go back to the doc. I had my monthly bill february, regulated it and had my cycle in may and nothing since then so I have to regulate it again so maybe nothing until august...

To top it all off, the WORST thing happened to me at the doc yesterday, I'm sitting there crying (I'm a crybaby!) and then she looked at my results and said "this P test is positive!" I din't get excited because I was still crying, then she said "sorry, thast wasn't your test!" :crying:

So these last couple of days I'm just living by faith....

RANT OVER!

OH thats good to hear about the 90 days... How long do we have exactly? :P

Ahh Krystle... It will happen honey (babydust wishes!).. I think I would have punched the girl that told me it was positive but not my test :P

Well, after a miscarriage, it depends on the type of miscarriage, your doctor, how far along and how well you and your body recovered. If you have a d&c - that's a lot for your body and it does need time to heal! It can be up to a 6 week wait or more depending if you are still bleeding/spotting. They want you to wait until that stops. Reason is because you can get an infection.

I had a complete miscarriage, and the blood stopped within an hour afterwards (with spotting for about 2 weeks). It was natural and the baby came out in tact on its own

They examined the baby to make sure everything came - usually they will do an ultrasound on you to make sure - i didn't have to... reason is some women still have tissue that comes out a few days later or even a week or so later.

Most doctors will ask you to wait because it's emotional.. also it can take weeks for the pregnancy hormone to get out of your body.., and they want to make sure your body heals. They say 1 - 3 cycles to wait before trying. My doctor told me that once I stop spotting I can have sex again...and if I feel up to it there is nothing medically holding me back from trying this month - however, they would recommend i wait to have my first period after the miscarriage.

But I had 2 nurses and 2 doctors tell me the same thing.. but I am a little scared to try again...but if it happens..it happens.

Regarding the90 days, they don't give you an exact time frame to file. I know someone who fileda year after arrival. They just recommend you file soon because you never know what might happen, the fee might increase, you may want to travel etc

I didn't pay much attention when the doc thought it was my test because I knew within my heart that I wasn't pregnant...

I don't understand, why would you be scared to try again? Everything happens for reasons we may never know. So just try your best to heal emotionally and start trying when you're comfortable.

I just noticed this forum has 3,988 posts and that September 1st will be 1 year since the form started. Time truly does fly!! It would be great if we can start part 2 on september 1st,I don't see why not because we don't talk that much and that's only a month and a half away. ALOT has happened since september 1st in all our lives and I just wish ppl would drop in at least once a month to share their story...

I think they main reason they want you to file before 90 is up because after 90 days you're out of status. If wait and file a year or so after that and apply for AP it's pretty much moot because you've been out of status for so long that you would get an automatic ban when you try and re-enter the country. I think it's something like 180 days of out of status time is a 3 year ban and a year of out of status time is a 10 year ban. So basically, the less time you're out of status, the better.

I wish people other than us would drop in sometime, but we always were the ones posting the most. I know we've had this discussion many times about how we wish people other than just us would drop in, instead of just coming around for a week and then never again. :(
