Kjenkins, Not that big of a price difference unless they have free S&H right. Simple yet elegant I love it.

Quick question, Najmeh will be going from Tehran to Amsterdam, then Amsterdam to DC. She is asking about a transit visa. Is that needed with a K1 visa in hand if she is not leaving the airport in Amsterdam?

A few months ago someone started a forum asking that question and if my memory is right I believe the amswer is yes, you do need a transit visa. Don't quote me it though

Okay, so I finally managed to find a current thread for military personnel.. from what they said in there, military personnel requires letter from CO, and last 6 months of LES... and current orders for evidence support of I-134...(just posting .. in case someone else ever needs that information).. im still going to bring some W2s and bank statements though.

At my consulate, bank statements are only necesary if you don't meet the income requirement, might be different at your consulate

Maggie it's intend because he does intend to support you since you won't be working; atleast that's what I had put on mine...

Hmmm, that's what I would think it would be, too. That's what I'm putting. Luckily, I have a REALLY good job prospect lined up for the moment I get home!

GOOD NEWS THOUGH! I CALLED DOS THIS MORNING! We're all set for May 17th!!!!!! I'm planning on leaving the States in the middle of April so that we have a few paychecks between my getting there and the interview to save up so we can have a nice weekend in Montreal! I'm so excited and nervous and now extremely busy LOL!

that is what we originally put but the sample form on these forums, didn't check either and put N/A (K1 visa process, permnant residence).

Maggie I had asked this question in a different thread, and apparently a lot of people from Canada didn`t check anything and did it just like in the example and it was fine. I`ll let you know how it goes tomorrow because we did it just like the example.

According to some folks on VJ, the only people who have problems with that question are folks from hard consulates. Those are the ones who get grilled about their answers. But again, I`ll let you know tomorrow.

We`re getting ready to go and check out the consulate. I`ll post a picture of it when I get back so that you can see Maggie.

Yeap she needs the transit visa, so we are working on that one. Her ticket is for April 2nd to DC and then April 3rd to Memphis (She will spend the night at my sister-in-laws home because we have no clue how long immigration will keep her)
