Yes I love Maggie Sottero dresses.. it looks different IRL than it does on the model girl.. but it definitely screamed me.

I loved the rings ( both Krystle and Seb), Maggie I LOVE that dress and I can just imagine you in it. I even like the flower on it.

Spent several more hours trying to get the house ready. You would think I was finished .. but no Tomorrow show be the last day of working on the house, then having the carpets cleaned on Thursday.. Friday will be grocery shopping.. and then Saturday.. off to NYC :)

also, caved in and purchased a wii & wii fit. should hopefully come this week or next. i'm psyched. let's see if i can be disciplined enough to make it worthwhile! hey kayla btw how are things going with your program?

You know, it was going awesome and then I got this new computer. I haven't put it on here yet, but I definately learned a lot while I was using it.

Wii fit it awesome. They have so many fun games on there that really do work you out.

I changed my cake lady today. She had called me and told me that she was doing my cake for another bride and that she'd let me know when she put the pictures up. Well...she did. And it was awful. And then I really started looking at all of her cakes and they just weren't as good as they could be. I was putting it up as the brides probably picked an ugly cake, but when I know what the cake I wanted looks like and then I see what she did to it, it made me really really nervous. So I changed cake people. The new place wants a little bit more, but I'm willing to pay more for things I know are going to be good.

Jenn it sounds like you're going to exhausted by the end of the week!!... hope you rest up a little before he comes and you're exhausted all over again lol

Oh Kayla, I'm glad you found out before hand.. it would have been awful to end up disappointed the day of the wedding. I agree better safe than sorry and go with the one that is a bit more pricey.

The cake is the most important thing to Mathew(for obvious reasons. He's a man=men live for food) and I just want everything to be beautiful. If I had this gorgeous wedding and everything it would crush me to walk into my reception and see what I saw tonight.

I love both white gold and yellow gold and a lot of my pieces are a combination of both. Krystle and Seb both have exquisite taste!

With all the beautiful beautiful things popping up on here I should ask my husband if he wants to get married agian.

I've taken on the task of painting the interior of my daughters home as well as her kitchen cabinets. Funny thing is I hired someone to paint the exterior of mine at the same time, so needless to say we have a lot going on here. My son found a great apartment for him and Najmeh and he will be moving this weekend. This is going to be a wild spring I can already tell.

Yeah, one is 3 and one is 5 tier .. but also.. one is real/fake roses... the other is cake/frosting made roses it seems? I think the details on the white icing are similar though the second picture is a little smaller so it's hard to tell.

The picture of what she did to it is a lot smaller than the one she posted on her website. The top tier is supposed to have like that glitter sugar stuff and instead it's some kind of weird squiggles. She also told me that she did wonderful icing roses. The roses on the cake were fine, they looked good, but the leaf things were awful. I thought that the tiers were almost the same size as one another and that made the cake look a little weird.

I think it mostly just scares me because other pictures on her website of her cakes aren't that great. There are a few that are pretty, but most of them are lop-sided or look generally just messy. I called and talked to her about the cake and she got very defensive. I wasn't at all hateful or acted like it wasn't pretty, I just gave her some notes on what I wanted my cake to be like, versus the one for the other bride. Needless to say that $135 pricetag was really too good to be true. Her attitude about it was awful. I could really understand a bad attitude if I had acted like a bridezilla but all I did was call her and tell her that I saw the cake and that it was good, but I wanted to make a few changes to the one she was going to do for me.
