i know what it's like to go through a tough consulate. i was terrified reading all the stories of the bad treatment folks were getting at mine. we were both so so SO nervous and worried. but we got through it and so will you!!

I dont know where you are in Canada, but I'm going on Monday to get my police cert and I was told I would get it in the mail in 7 to 10 days. There are several private firms offering it for around 50$.

The embassy received my case but since the clerk was not there today I will call her on Tuesday and ask the exact date. I pressume that the papers came on Wednesday or Thursday.

Maybe I will know the date for the interview...hope so!!!

Mathew just walked in the police station, paid $40 and they sent him his police certificate in 7 days. I can't believe it's so much harder outside of Montreal to get one. That's just crazy.
