Well, my major is TECHNICALLY Environmental Science with Land Resources as my option. I want to be a wildlife biologist. BUT, I refuse to work after we have children for a while. So I'm completely unsure of if I'll finish, or if I'll get to use it once I am finished.

What I've decided to do is go back to school(or change my major) and go for photography. As much as I'm paying my photographer($1900), I'd me making a killing on it. I figure I can stay at home with the baby during the week and doing weddings and stuff on the weekends that way Mathew can take care of her(we want a girl!).

Right now I've restricted myself to only finishing up my basics that I haven't gotten to yet that way it wont hurt so bad if I change my major.

That is exactly what my cousin did and she makes pretty good money. Started doing weddings and then moved into Senior pictures as well. Just for fun, she started doing "modeling" sessions for girls and their friends.. taking pictures of them outside, dressing up, just posing for fun, letting them pretend to be models for a day.. and it's turned in to a great business for her.

Really I'd never have to think about working if I didn't want to once Mathew gets a job. His profession pays him very high. The only problem is our economy and that we're not sure when he'll land that job.

Besides, I was raised to not rely on anyone, to make my own money. I just happen to think that my mommy duties are more important than my pride. So I'll settle for working on the weekends and hanging out all week with my child. :)

We're hopefully going to try and not have kids for a year or so, but with as many icepacks as I have to use, that MIGHT be an issue. ;)

Good Morning everyone...I hope you all have a great day.

Kenyth and I are going to be talking about the wedding this weekend and it looks as though we're going to postpone the date we picked (April 25th) because of how far behind Montreal is. I am a little upset about it honestly, but I should have booked a wedding much later.

He also will be finding out today if they are sending him to Haiti to help out. He wants to go, so I hope they ship him there. They will need all the help they can get. My heart goes out to them. <3

Oh ok Kayla. I have no clue what a wildlife biologist does but I do know photographers make $$$$$

I want a girl as well and I swear I'm going to be devastated if I have a boy, I'll accept a boy as my 2nd; you can't do much with baby boys :-(

Girls on the other hand u can play dress up, do their hair and have her help around the house when I'm feeling lazy ;-)

Hi Jenn!!!

Hi Maggie, I hope he gets to go to Haiti and lend a helping hand.

Kayla, I was just thinking of the police record check... I thought I read some where that you posted that Mathew had his done (not sure though?).. Is he going to have to get it redone now if he did? I think they want it within the last 30 days and then there is also a 3 month expiry on it (at least for Nova Scotia..not sure if Montreal is different)..

Just wanted to ask .. in case

Also DOS told me for Montreal they will be extending petitions automatically because of their backlog...though I think we both heard Montreal does that anyway without the letter requirement.

I want 2 boys and 1 girl. Boy first.

I want 2 boys and 1 girl. Boy first.

Somehow I missed how we got on the subject of how many kids we wanted??? But I'll give my two cents..

I would like two girls and a boy.. but given my age, one child will be miracle enough, so if I can only have one.. I would want a boy.

Oh, and I want at least one boy and one girl. I'm sure Mathew would be fine with all girls, but I want at least one boy to carry on mathews good looks and name :). He's got the most stunning blue eyes(somehow they don't come out right in pictures) so I'd love to have a little boy with those crazy blue eyes just like his daddy.

I can't wait to be a mommy. Here lately it's been getting worse. I think I've just hit that stage in my life where I feel it's time. But of course, were gonna be responsibile parents and wait until were financially stable before making little Mathew and Kaylas. He said he wants our little girl to look like me. Any of you that have me on facebook have seen how huge my cheeks were. I think that'd be so cute!!!

Jenn, you will be blessed with all the little jenns & fuats that you desire.

I just want a girl because I never got the chance to have a close relationship with my mother and a mother daughter relationship is precious and therefore can't wait to have my own little girl to show her what my mom never showed me. We plan on naming her Alexis!

Kayla, I can imagine your little matthew jr w' chunky cheeks!

2 Boys Maggie??

Off topic: I'm @ work and it's so much tension because for the umpteenth time, our boss rudely annouced "no checks until tuesday!" I'm so fed up that I'm not even shaken by it because only God knows why a state owned preschool is low on funds.....

So now I have to put my cheap ticket search on hold, as Kayla would say: booh!

Our first little girl is going to be named lily. We know that for sure. I'd like to name our boy Alexander and call him Xander for short.

Krystle that sucks so bad about your check!! I guess that's why I'm glad AT&T is such a big corporation, they can't do that to us. And also, were union so they REALLY can't. Lol. Union would have their hides for something like that.

I really feel sorry for those working in the school systems. There is so many layoffs and it's hard to even get a teaching job in kentucky. Too much politics involved for me! Around here it's all about who you know if you want to be a teacher.
