Saw someone with a different type of visa with an interview date of Feb 24th..

Don't think that's looking too good for Mathew and I fitting into February

I'm starting to think you're right. I'd love for you all to get Feb interviews, but I know it isn't realistic. At this point I'm just scared to death that we wont make our June wedding. I look at all of these other peoples timelines that have been waiting for a long time and I think that it really WAS true when kjenkins, Jenn and I had the conversation about the faster the approval is, the slower your journey will be.

I need him like I need air. I want him to come home.

I guess I'm just in a really lousy mood today. His grandmother died last night and it's killing me that I can't be there. I swear, if there wasn't so much snow I would probably be on my way to him. It breaks my heart that in a time like this, we're still separated. I want to be there to hold his hand through this awful time.

Maybe I should go crawl in a hole for a few weeks.

I know it's hard..with the distance, but all you can do is be there for him in the ways you can - which is listening, and talking, and just being available for him. I am so sorry about the loss of his grandmother.

Kayla I know how you feel when it comes to needing your hubby. I'm going through family issues; health issues; money issues and I just need him!! But we just have to be there iways that we can.

Boo, Guatemala! The police there have been telling us for weeks that we would get my finace's records before the date of the interview. They just changed the law and now they are not giving police records to ANYONE until they implement some new system to prevent corruption. That starts Thursday afternoon, and our interview is Thursday morning. Now we're trying to find out if we can do the interview without the records and send it to the embassy afterwards. ugh! We were so close.

I think I read a forum on this before, I'll see if I can find it, as far as I read they said you can go to the interview but you wouldn't be approved until they had the paperwork that is needed...

hmm, I can't seem to find it, but I found an article that talked about taking a letter stating they will not issue the police certficiate/record to the interview with you...

Right now I'm smiling, dancing, having a drink (of water) and losing my mind at the same time!

I just called dos and was told my interview is February 12th @ 8:30 am!!!

But, there's always a but! I just got back from Jamaica, broke! I must go to the interview because he's a complete looney when it comes to business. But by God's willing, I'll be there and we're gonna get that visa.

Everyone, I know that majority of us will be having our weddings in the summer but it'd be so nice if we all could meet up at king's dominion for a weekind. Jenn, pull some strings and see what discounts you can come up with

I am convinced A & D will have their NOA2 AND their interview before me.. but I still maintain there is a REASON our interview was delayed for so long and scheduled on that day of all days...

Come to Kings Dominion ( But it's in Virginia, not Pennsylvania). I can give you tickets into the park.. and can get a discount at the hotel next to the park. We don't own it, so best I could probably do is a discount.

Jenn, my job closes for 1 wk in april for spring break so I'll see what I can do then... As of now I'm thinking how can I get a week off fr work to go to the interview, wait until he gets his visa AND take my man home with me!! I'm so happy!

No joke, when my uncle met Mathew for the first time he looked at him and said "What's that aboot, eh?". I thought Mathew was gonna die!

He is now affectionately referred to in my family as "the canadian". They love him just about more than they love me.

I've never heard Mathew say it, but maybe it's because he's french canadian? They're just weird and funny just by being themselves.
