They gave a wrong information to David in the Court House when he asked if this is the final document but when he went for RFE he was helped by a Philippina clerk who know exactly what paper he need it because she had been through her own visa journey.

Today we received a letter from USCIS regarding our RFE and we were so happy cause actually the only request was David's divorce absolute decree. :star:

He went for that paper and sent our reply immediately, so now we are waiting for NOA2 for which we hope will be soon.:luv:

Thanks to all of you on support!!! (F)

Oh that's excellent!!! YOu'll probably receive NOA2 very soon then since it was only one thing they needed to confirm!!!

I just called DOS and they informed me that Montreal is sending my Packet 4 with my interview date to me ..in March.

I'm going to get Kenyth to call back and see if we can find out if that means a march or april interview... because if it means april or later I'll have to reschedule the wedding =(

PS I am happy that I at least have a range now of when I am possibly interviewing lol..

its just so many people have to travel from different states and countries, so they need to book their vacation in advance

I called them today and they had no information for me. That seems weird what they told you since our Packet 3s were logged on the same day. Seems they should be scheduled together, you'd think.

What did you ask for when you called them? Maybe I'm saying the wrong thing.

I'm crossing my fingers for us!

I called the National Visa Center today and they finally gave me the Havana Case Number and with it I called the U.S. Interest Section in Havana and they gave me the interview date for March 29. The NVC said they had received our file on January 7th (we were approved on the 4th), and that they still had it. I asked them when would they be forwarding it to Havana, and the lady said it was hard to tell and asked me to call towars the end of this week. I'm planning to call on Friday again just to make sure they already sent it to Cuba. I'm praying to God that it won't be put in administrative review!! It's important for you out there that are planning on calling the NVC to actually speak to a living rep, and not just go by the automated system. Even today when I first called it said the NVC had not received my file, but when I actually spoke to someone they told they've had it since January 7th. So, definetly their automated system is not up to date. Later!

They don't log K-1s in their automated system. It's not that it's not updated, they just don't log us.

Same thing I always say.. Hello, would you like my case number. She says yes, and I give it. Then she asks for my name and I give that. Then they give me the same speech your forms have been looked at - and you are eligible.

Today she said the same thing but then shes like.. oh..wait... they are sending you your packet 4 in march.

- but then when I got kenyth to call and ask about it they didn't even have that information for him lol

What's the difference between NVC & DOS???

Dviera Congrats on the interview date, however how can you have an interview set when the packet is still here and not @ your consulate??

Prayers for AandD & PaciencayFe!

As for myself, Kayla & Maggie, hopefully we'll know our date soon!

Jenn, lets see if I'm really gonna get my interview before you do and if so I owe you a drink. (I hope you remember when I was complaining about people who filed after me but was approved before me and you said I might have my interview before you do:-)

Right now I'm smiling, dancing, having a drink (of water) and losing my mind at the same time!

I just called dos and was told my interview is February 12th @ 8:30 am!!!:dance:

But, there's always a but! I just got back from Jamaica, broke! I must go to the interview because he's a complete looney when it comes to business. But by God's willing, I'll be there and we're gonna get that visa.

Sorry Jenn but you won and I owe you a drink.

Everyone, I know that majority of us will be having our weddings in the summer but it'd be so nice if we all could meet up at king's dominion for a weekind. Jenn, pull some strings and see what discounts you can come up with :star:

(I believe we're all close to pennslyvania except seb and gaynto.)

Congrats kjenkins!

Just called DOS and again...no interview. I'm so sick of hearing that Mathew is eligible but no interview date has been set. They've had our case logged for a month and 3 days. This is crazy.

Kayla, in the mean time, call or write to your mayor/senator because as you said before Canada is right next door to us and we are bff so it shouldn't take that long. It's not as if it's iraq or something. (No offense to anyone from Iraq but they tend to be more strict)

If it takes too much longer I'll do that. There are people that have waited longer than me, but I don't want to sit by and do nothing if there's something that can be done. I would just love to hear that Maggie and Mathew got their interviews.
