Website says approved on Jan 4th, 2010. Still waiting for snail-mail NOA2 to arrive.

Send package in Aug, they received on Sep 4th, 2009. So exactly 4 months for me. :)

Took mine almost 10 days to get to me. Don't worry about it too much. Concentrate on getting things together for your packet 3(if your embassy requires) and your interview!

Congrats!

Like to say thank you everyone for the support and all the congrats :)

Jenn you will see time will go by so quick. Fuat will probably arrive to the States before Joanna does. She has some stuff that we need to take care of before she leaves. We are shooting for Late Feb or sometime in March. Good thing is Feb only has 28 days haha.

To everyone else hopefully you will get down with your interviews as for us it seems all the weight in the world has been lifted. We knew it was going to ok but until today when they said she gets a Visa it seems anything could happen.

I hope the time goes by as quickly as it can. We're shooting for Mid-March. Our interview is the 23rd, I have a business trip in Moldova, Turkey and Greece until March 9th ( our interview falls between the job fair in Moldova and Job Fair in Turkey.. perfect timing :) )

He plans to spend a week with his sister, a week with his friends and a week with his family and then get on a plane. So.. Mid March for us .. INSALLAH!

Awesome site for information.

Met my fiance via skype in november of 2008. One thing led to another, and she flew here in February 2009 and stayed until late April. We applied for the K1 in September, and in October I flew to Germany and stayed with her for 2 weeks. While in Europe, we traveled to Ireland, and I did the 'proper' proposal in Dublin Castle Garden. In December, received the RFE, and sent in all the receipts, passport stamps, flight tickets, and pictures from my stay in Europe with her. Received notice today that they have received the packet... now back to the waiting game. Not sure how much longer this is going to take, but glad to have found a site with tons of helpful people

hey guys, good morning! driver - congrats on the NOA2! i'm really hoping things come through for AandD as well. I'm hoping that maybe they already got theirs and are just so busy having fun together that they haven't checked in.

i've only got two more days before i head out to ecuador! i am so excited and nervous. i've reviewed all the forms and everything is well-organized...tons of evidence...man i hope everything goes okay.

yes looks like mid-to-end of march will be good times hopefully for us all! we would be targeting then as well...though i might recommend april instead, to let it get a little warmer up here! I am afraid of subjecting my sweetie to the northeast winters before he has time to ease into them...he might turn right around and go back to beautiful, balmy, warm ecuador!

I read this under the Canada Forums and thought I would pass it along. As of January, this month, HIV testing for the medical examinations are no longer required.

http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dq/hiv-guidance-panel-civil.htm

So HIV test and HPV no longer required.

I hope medical cost goes down lol.

Anyway..less blood taken from me the better..so yay!

Yes, I heard it on the news while I was in Jamaica that HIV testing for medicals are no longer required. And of course the cost of the medical won't decrease, we wish!

I do to believe that march-april will be the shining star months, by then almost all of us will have done our interview and maybe half of us will have our honey here.

As for myself, I'm here stressing about my car and everything else, but by God's help I'll be ok.

Jenn, it'l come in due time.

Aww, I'm sorry AandD. I wish they had let you know sooner that something was missing. Seems like an awfully long time for it to go just for an RFE. :(
