I would LOVEEE to just take off and do something like that. But he wants a big wedding for all of his family to attend and my mother never really got a wedding, so I'm in a bind. But the more I plan it, the more I can envision it, and the more I envision it the more it makes my heart flutter to think of his face as he sees me for the first time when I'm walking down the aisle. :) I know I'm going to cry. I've been so emotional since he and I got back together. Any little thing makes me cry like a little girl.

I'd love to run off, but overall I wouldn't miss my big day for the world. :luv:

I'll just live through you! LOL

hi guys,

wow another quiet day. AandD, any word?

i'm almost all set with the prep work for the interview. maybe i will take some photos tonight of all my handiwork. :)

wedding research is now centered on sanibel island or one of the keys...maybe Key Largo? we plan to do super low-key much like you, jenn. just us and my immediate family, and maybe one or two others. no reception or anything - just the ceremony on the beach. it's a second time around for both of us, and i'm so thankful he wants that same things as me - super intimate and simple. i know we could just as easily go get married at City Hall and that would be so much easier...but because it's such an important moment for us I'd like to do something a bit more special. and being out in nature for it would be wonderful.

:)

k.

Oh ok thanks pacienciayfe.

Actually packet 3 was sent out so right now I'm online filling out ds-230. So of course I have a question: where it says "spouse," I don't put my info in that slot right? Because I'm not his spouse yet...

Today at 12:46 PM, when I least expected it I received a text message from USCIS saying my case had been updated. I rushed online but then the system said that my password had expired. I was so nervous thinking it could be a RFE or worst, that I even forgot my old password. I had to try it a couple of times before it finally allowed to sign in again to watch my portfolio. And YES, my petition had been approved!! I was so happy it almost brought tears to my eyes!!! I'm dying to get home to call my girlfriend and let her know. I'm calling NVC on Wednesday to see if they already got the file. Anyone has their number handy? What do you guys think, will they have it already?

Congrats Dviera on your K-1 approval!!!

As for us Joanna has her medical in 10 hours and her Interview at the Embassy in 32 hours. Until I hear her say she got the Visa it's going to be hard to sleep for me atleast. Don't know about her since we haven't talked since Saturday morning with me being busy working all the time and the time zone. When I'm home she is sleeping and when I wake up even early sometimes she already on with her day and not home.

On another note my parents were in Paris,France and they said it was great for New Years. Now they are home back in the UK. Kinda funny and weird having my parents in France for New Years, my brother was in the UK at home, and my Joanna was in Poland along with the rest of my family. I was the only one stuck in the US haha. Not like it's a bad thing but kinda sucked not having and family here for the first time. The other this that sucks is I live in Florida for one reason only and it's the all the older drivers on the road it's the warm weather, it's been freaking freezing the last few days and it's suppose to be like that for a week or more. If I wanted cold weather I would have been back in my home country of Poland to freeze my hands off.

congratulations!! there's no harm in calling. Based on most people's timelines it only takes a few days for it to get to the NVC, mine took 12 days (including weekends), but it was around Christmas. It arrived on the 28th and was sent to the embassy on the 29th, so its super fast. Good luck and start calling. You can call several times a day, its almost always a different operator. One time I called and the lady said that the beneficiaries b-day was not what I was giving them, that they had another one on file and that I would have to send them a letter with the correction, and they couldn't tell me anything about the case. I panicked, and in like 15 minutes called back and got a different lady and it was fine, it was the same as I had been giving them, and she said my petition was on its way to the embassy. call several times, cause they can make mistakes.

Sorry I haven't been replying much. Kenyth was here visiting for the last 2 weeks for the holidays. It was great... today is very sad for me though. We won't be together now until I'm approved. :crying:

Anyway...

Congrats on NOA2!

Good luck on the interview tomorrow! (i think it's tomorrow?)

and I hope this new year brings us all luck and great news!

Everyones wedding plans sound great.

Two people who love each other ..standing before each other vowing to love each other.. makes it the most beautiful and wonderful moment...sharing it with just each other or family and friends... that's what makes our wedding day special.

Best Wishes

Thanks everyone for your support. I really thought they were going to take more than 5 months to approve me. I've noticed that most people's files arrive to the NVC in a couple of days after NOA2, so I'll start calling tomorrow Wednesday. Take care everyone and may God continue to bless us all throughout this whole process.

hi everyone! i have been following along but havent had much time to reply or post! The VJ has been such a help for me during this process.

I sent my 129F on Sept 10th, and recently received notice that the NVC has received it! I was wondering what I do now. Any advice or insights on what i should be doing to help with the next process. Should i start calling the NVC to check on if they have sent my paper work to the consulate in Barbados?

I am getting really excited and it was great christmas news to hear of things moving along so fast!

Looking for any advice!

Thanks
