guys i know plp say packet 3. but when my fiance got the packet from islamabad embassy it said "packet 3.5" any ideas why?

I would say it was a version number... Our packet 3 was called Packet 3 though it stated the date of this version..

Like packet 3 as of February 2009 .. Maybe this is just the way this consulate notes the version used.

Off to bed... Antonio's interview is in about 6 hours!!! I want to be up to hear the results..

Since Im the probably the only one in here on Europe time, I'll be here waiting for your good news.

So the website caught it's mistake. They called and wanted to charge me $120 more. I've been raising hell with them all day and have now been put into contact with their president. Regardless, it's their fault they didn't check prices before updating the website, not mine. If a customer were to walk in here and saw a wrong price we would have to give them the phone for the lowest price. It doesn't matter who is at fault, it's just good business.

At the very least they have agreed to give me the order for 72.90. I want the price I was charged for, but since it was suppsed to be 150 I'll settle for 72. But ssssh don't tell!!!

Just out of curiosity when you or your fiancee comes into the US, which POE are you thinking about coming in through?

Alice will be coming in through Atlanta, which seems to have a reasonable record.

Also, I called NVC today and they gave me my case number. What do I do w/ that, where do I go from there?? Because I'm ready to do some stalking!

Non really, just some have bad reputations, and may make you wait. Which would not be a fun thing to go through.

Did NVC say when they sent your case to the consulate? Start stalking the consulate when you know it has arrived. Then you will receive packet 3 to return to them..

We'll go through JFK (new york)...that's where i live and there is a direct flight. have you heard bad things about it?

From here you'll stalk NVC until it leaves from there. After that you'll stalk DOS until your consulate receives your case and for your interview date. There isn't an online thing to stalk it's all done through phone now.
