what discounts can we get as a "married couple"

so i've just read on other post that we should be able to get some discounts as a married couple a on car insurance...(did not know that)

what other discounts(in general) are avaliable for a married couple?

health insurance,life insurance,home insurance,gym membership,college tutions etc..........

Mostly insurance related are what I could think of. You could argue that some vacation deals could be cheaper for couples/pairs but not necessarily for married couples.

You can get joint memberships in places like Costco; discount rates for adding a spouse to AAA . . . I'll see if I can think of any others

Wouldn't that be nice. Although, if either of you work for a higher education institution, sometimes you do get a discount.

Joint filing of income tax normally gives you a break over filing single. You get to claim the wife for all of 2009 so an extra exemption and standard deduction for you at tax time.
