Now we're onto stage 2 of the visa process  , I know he has to send me a few things before the interview (just incase he cannot be here in person and bring them himself due to finances). Our original plan was to have him fly down and attend the interview with me but we're short of finances due to a recent relocation on his side and new job so that is iffy at the moment. I have a checklist ready but need some ideas or a look through incase anything is missing.

1. Copy of NOA2

2. Updated letter of intent (from USC and beneficiary)

3. Original boarding passes (I have the e-ticket and stuff)

4. Original snail mail from beneficiary with envelopes and dates

5. (Original/photocopied?) petitioner birth certificate

6. Copy of 1-134 co-sponsor birth certificate/passport (I can't in good conscience ask the co-sponsor to send me his original bc!)

AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT

7. Affidavit of support - Petitioner

- 2008 tax transcript x2

- 1040 and W2 x2 (just incase they don't accept transcripts)

- Employer letter/contract x2

- Last few months pay stubs x2

8. Affidavit of support - Co-sponsor

- 2008 tax transcript/return (W2, 1040, 1099) x2

- 2007 tax transcript/return (W2, 1040, 1099) x2

- 2006 tax transcript/return (W2, 1040, 1099) x2

- Employer letter x2

- Last few months pay stubs x2

---------------------------------------------------

Letter from employer states the following:

a. Date and nature of employment

b. Salary paid and

c. Whether the position is temporary or permanent

Example:

"To whom it may concern: (first name, last name) has been employed full-time with the XYZ Company since 200_ as a (name of your job), and is an employee in good standing with an annual salary of $XXXX.

Signed,

Employer Name,

Employer Title”

-----------------------------------------------------

I have all originals of documentary proof that we met except for his boarding passes/passport and documentary proof of our relationship as they're all online and can be printed. We never filed 2007 and 2006 taxes so that's why we have a co-sponsor. That and with the recent relocation, the new job is still a little unsteady and will take a few more months to settle down.

Is there anything I am missing? Still mentally frazzled and excited about the NOA2 so I'm not all here

Thanks in advance.

3. My skype unlimited country phone records showing his mobile phone number(s) for 2007,2008 and 2009

4. My mobile phone records showing his mobile phone number sending my texts

5. A copy of my phone SMS inbox showing all the texts he sent me, his number and what they say

6. Screenshots of my skype account confirming my skypein number belongs to me

7. Receipts from skype showing my skypein number belongs to me

8. Emails printed directly from yahoo email on texts he sent to me from his mobile phone to yahoo for 2008 with attached pictures (about 100 so far) showing his mobile number and my name

9. Emails printed directly from yahoo email on texts I sent to his mobile phone from my email for 2008 with attached pictures (about 50 so far) showing his mobile and my name

10. Forum messages we first sent to each other on the game we used to play together back in 2004, 2005 and 2006

11. Wii messages we send back and forth from his wii to my email dated 2008

12. Screenshots of us on cam on skype all blown up

13. 2 chat longs from a single conversation on MSN in May and June 2009 (so bloody long we only picked out a 2-3 hour conversation from the usual 6 hours)

14. About 66 pictures of us together from his trip here in March 2008 including pics of us with my family

15. Screenshots of some art I made for the waiting period of K1 themed long distance relationship series (I wanna show it off! )

16. Web page print out of the place we plan to elope the end of the year and more pages of the our expensive wedding plans in Hawaii for next year

17. Original boarding passes from his trip

18. Original hotel receipts from our trip showing his name and mine and signatures for the room number we both stayed at on restaurant bills

19. His e-ticket from his trip

20. The receipt of his ticket from his trip down

21. Original receipts of money conversion at Incheon in Seoul, Korea during his layover on his trip down

22. Original receipts of our trip to the zoo and our taxi fare from the airport to the hotel showing the hotel name as destination and the zoo charge for a local and foreigner

23. Stubs of packages I sent to him via snail mail dating back 2006 to recently

24. Any snail mail I sent to him we can get our hands on

25. Snail mail he sent to me dated 2004, 2005, 2006

26. Pictures of him and his family and baby pics he sent to me

I am considering getting signed affidavits stating the relationship from his mom, mom's partner, mom's friend, dad, sister, best friend, my best friend, my mom, my brother and sister. Not sure about this, but it might be needed for AOS so might as well get them ready now.

Okay nevermind, I googled it since the description on our guides didn't say much.

Form DS-156 - Form filled by any non-immigrant. Same thing I had filled in for my visitor visa. I found a good guide to fill it up here.

Form DS-156K - A non-immigrant fiance visa application.

Form DS-230 - Application for immigrant visa and alien registration (Why do we need this since K1 is a non-immigrant visa?)

Along with form DS-156K the following forms are needed:

1. Birth certificate (original or copy?)

2. Police certificate

3. Evidence of engagement (I think this is updated letter of intent)

4. Evidence of financial support (I-134 and supporting docs)
