NVC Choice of Agent

Oh my goodness...I got my first email from the NVC. Well on Friday August 28th, 2009 I called NVC to get my case number and the lady who answered the phone was so very super-dooper nice and very helpful.

Today we got the email from NVC...my husband and I both got the same email...one letter for each of us to each of us....

I do however have a question... :wacko:

Do we have to appoint someone to be our or his "Choice of Agent"?

I just want it to be me so that I can keep a handle on what is going on and what he may need.

Is that an option for us....

Please give me your insight :blink::blush::unsure:

yes its easier if it is you! just put yourself down and you guys should be fine!

Timeline:

Sent in I-130 form: 01/29/09

Interview Date: 11/08/09 (APPROVED!)

Visa in Hand: 11/12/09

POE: 01/30/10 (!!!!) at JFK Airport in NYC... can't wait!

Got the green card maybe 8 weeks after 01/30/10...

TBC....

:thumbs::thumbs: Thank you everyone. I am sure glad that this site exist. It is good to get direction and insight from actual people who have walked and talked this process and not some lawyer or "Visa help" service who we pay but cannot answer anything...
