hi everyone. my conditional greencard will expire early next year. and within the span of time my husband will be out to sea. what are the papers i need to show or submit because he won't be there for an interview. thank you much.

You file within 90 days before your expiration date. Most peeps don't have a interview if they file adequate proof of having a bonafide marriage.

Hard to say when you would have a interview if you do so at all!!

Just submit the removal of conditions package as normal. Often times I understand they are approved without an interview. If they schedule your interview while he is deployed you call them. They may request that you send a letter explaining why the interview needs to rescheduled and any supporting documentation (orders). You are doing well to plan ahead for sea duty. Go Navy!

You can go to the interview by yourself. Just bring orders! I did it. :) Everything worked out just fine!
