Is Manila doing electronic processing of IR1 and CR1 cases yet, like some other Consulates are doing?

Nope - but - if ya check over at http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_4411.html

You'll see a list in a drop down for WHICH Consulates currently are enrolled in 'NVC Electronic Processing'. I guess the only way to 'glean' about PI is to keep checking until it's in the list?

IMO - it's rather cool - as the SAFEFILE mechanism is solely used.

GUZ will act on a petition slung to them solely via SAFEFILE - I've no idea if Montreal ships paper documents from NVC (but geezzz )..

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
