I read on a website by an immigration attorny that said the consulate in Peru doesn't allow routine petitions now. The site was last updated on 2007 so I am not really sure if that is even true, it is one person saying it. I came here because this site is filled with people going through the same thing I am and is constantly updated. I was also wondering what all the requirements are for my fiance to come live with me in the U.S. from Peru.

A little off topic but today I came back from staying with my fiance for 2 months and it was the hardest point of my life, it has made me sick and I am not the same person. I don't care to see my family or anyone except her right now. I was wondering how you guys all got through this. I know that I won't be 100% ok until I am there with her again but I want to get better than I am now.

DCF is only available to married couples who reside abroad. Since you guys are not yet married, you are not eligible for DCF  You are eligible to apply for a K-1 fiancee visa, which is processed as indicated in the Guides :)

Good luck,

I thought that I could live there for 6 months whether I am married or not and when 6 months passes I can marry her and apply for the DCF.

You can marry her as soon as the Peruvian government allows you to (in Mexico it is notoriously difficult for foreigners to get married). Once you reside in Peru for six months -being married- then you can apply for a CR-1 visa through DCF
