But they HAVE answered your question!!!!! That's what the real issue is...it seems you don't want to accept that. It takes usually 90 days for EAD approval...can you not wait and do things the legal way?

Darlin...I'm here to tell you now that I am who I am...I don't need to pretend to be anyone else to answer a question. Rudeness begets rudeness on here.

Excuse me, but the problem is someone like you who does not get the answer they want and go on and on and on hoping the answer will change. It will not. You cannot work without an EAD. I did not -seriously- mean to offend you. But please remember: if you work without an EAD, you are breaking the law.

Now just drop it. Wait for your EAD.

It takes 90 days after you apply for your EAD to obtain it. Until then, it is not legal for you to work for money. Many restaurant owners pay their employees in cash but it is also illegal for them to do that, as they are avoiding payment for their share of Social Security and unemployment insurance -- and also not taking taxes out of the employees' income as required by law.

If you apply for a job before deciding whether or not to work, it's not a good idea as you are not really being honest with an employer.

You might try volunteering somewhere, just to get out of the house and make friends.

Good luck

That is the 2nd post in this thread. "It takes 90 days after you apply for your EAD to obtain it. Until then, it is not legal for you to work for money."

The rest of this thread either echos that or is mush.
