NVC September - 2009 Edition

Congrats to everybody!

I'm in Ireland at the moment, spending my last full day with my husband. I know I don't need to tell all of you how that feels....and I know that I should be grateful for being able to spend some time with him.

I found out that the package made it to the attorney - despite the fact that all he has to do is sign it and send it out, it's been sitting on his desk. So while all of you mailed your stuff off and are waiting for an interview, I'm waiting on something I could have done myself. I get so upset, because the attorney can't possibly understand how very important each missed day is. When I get home, I'm calling him. If he doesn't move, I want my stuff back, and I'll just mail it myself.

For those of you wondering, we used an attorney because we're going to have problems due to an old crime.

Today is our 1-year anniversary. We should be celebrating with eyes glittering with happiness, not tears of separation.

I just keep praying for strength, and the understanding that God knows when the time is right for success. My hurrying through NVC won't make a difference if it's not in His time, right? Just gotta have faith that it'll happen when it's time to happen.

Congratulation for your anniversary... Even if I do think that you shouldn't have celebrated with tears of separation, but with hopeful toughts of a better future... It is only 1 day, I know a special day, but think about how many special days you both will have to celebrate for the rest of your lifes...

Just hang on the good toughts, not the bad ones, and the time you guys are separated will soon be over, and you'll be able to celebrate every single day of your lifes together.....

When I see my son thru the webcam it brakes my heart that he keeps yelling at me "papà papà" and tries to hug the monitor..But I know that time will come that I'll be able to celebrate every single day with my wife and my kids......

Be strong, and never give up, nobody said it was easy, but at least after this the road will do downhill

Hi all just got confirmation that my DS3032 was received on Oct 3rd but the IV bill is not invoised as yet maybe tomorrow. Just waiting for IV bill...

Did you call them or confirmation by e-mail ?

I sent mine DS3032 ON September 24 and still nothing

I called and got the info on the AVR.

Hello everyone, I just called the AVR and it said that nvc was just waiting on my biographic data from the beneficiary , now my question is does that mean my AOS was approved? already paid my iv payment and waiting on hubby to get back to Senegal to send me the packet and PCC'S then should be thru and all will have to do is wait. Prayerfully but God is so good and faithful in all things! Congrats to Freddy also!!

Isn't this the DS-230 PLUS the original documents (plus a copy of original documents) stage?

yes fredyy ,, not to mention you have delayed because of a wrong account number when paying the AOS bill ,, some times it is a matter of luck and def god's will !!!

Hold a second, the 70$ one (forgot the name:P) was paid with a right account#, and took 2 weeks to show paid, the 400$ one was paid with wrong # and was rejected in 3 days, then i paid again with the right one and took around 3 days to show paid....

yes ,, any ways as far as the log in am waiting for the " LOG IN FAIL " at this point every thing is at nvc my my ds230 that by husband sent( per DHL email notificaton ) got there this morning , and also the AOS is also in nvc system ,, any ways when loggging in do you go to the payment option to show fail ? where is that log in fail link on the websight ?

This is becoming increasingly frustrating. I called again this week and now all of the operators are telling me that "there's no timeframe for e-mails, but it is faster than snail mail."

Really? If it's faster, why are people who sent hard copies of the DS-3032 getting their IV bills generated, while I've waited two weeks for a response?

There weren't any supervisors available, so I'm going to call back at 2 PM. One way or another, I'm not letting this go until I get some answers.

darn it i just called nvc and they are saying iti s gonna take another two weeks for them to review it what in the world are they doing to mails that has been send Quicker than normal ,, i don't get nvc and beside that they should have a websight where it shows our case status just like uscis ,, they are the most important part of the visa journey , so what are they doing ???? some things are not ethically right about this , we just have to deal with it !! i guesssssssssss

Also, I'm confused about the I-864. Does the NVC send that out to you, or can you download it and go ahead? I know the flow chart says they generate it as a packet - but I was able to get it from a link at the bottom of my receipt page. How do they generate it - via snail mail or at that link? I've read so many things on this forum and their site that my eyes are spinning.
