Does anybody know if theres a way to get an idea of the waiting time after sending out the documents to the NVC??

Have seen as long as 14 days, and as short as 6 days. Im one of the exceptions, 16 days, ARGH!!!!

My login failed today so I called and talked to an operator and she said my financial evidence was still under review. :/ Don't know what that means.

But nonetheless..6 days to fail..probably another couple for confirmed approval. *fingers crossed*

I just spoke with the most unhelpful NVC operator in the world. I was calling because I STILL haven't received my DS-3032 or AOS bills through e-mail, and it just seems ridiculous that I've had to wait this long. They were both generated on Monday! There is no reason why an automated e-mail should take this long to send.

$%%#@!!*&&( :ranting: :ranting: :ranting:

They MAILED my DS-3032 and AOS bills. Why the hell did it take until RIGHT NOW for them to tell me this? I've been calling EVERY DAY THIS WEEK asking about the e-mails, and NOW they tell me they mailed them! ^%$##$%!!!

The lady I spoke with was quite nice, though, and said she'd have them e-mailed to me. I should get them in the next 24-48 hours, but STILL. How in the world did the 6 other people fail to notice that these bills had been generated and snail mailed?!

Did the NVC AVR not say that the bill was generated? I have been calling and asking about mines too and they are all schetchy operators. Everyone that answers the phone tells you something different.

Rule #1 of NVC, if caller dont ask, they dont tell. Its a shame, one of the things they review is your phone number and emails everytime you call. Im sorry Spec, that truly bites!!!

It did--the thing is, the bills generated in the same timeframe that I gave them my e-mails. So I was very explicit in asking: "Are these going to go out by e-mail, or snail mail? Because I prefer e-mail." And each time they would say: "It will go out by e-mail, just give it some time to get to you." I kept calling back saying I hadn't received either of the e-mails, until today, when someone finally told me they went out in snail mail.

Thanks Beth, you're the best. :) I should get them soon--and my home address is in VA, so if they sent in snail mail, it should come in the next few days anyway... but still, that is *really* frustrating. Ugh.

It really bothers me that I've gotten everything ready to send off and the NVC keeps holding me up. What's the point of all these shortcuts if they're just going to drag their feet the entire time?

Hey Sweets, in a word nowhere. I called NVC they said your case just complete on the 18th , we dont schedule till the 2nd week of the month. Still have not heard from embassy on K3 interview, I faxed them 3 days, ago, so this pm I emailed a email address I had from a Consul. officer in Paris and asked for K3 interview, should have something in email tomorow in am.

Last resort, go to Paris, feed hubby with Ex-lax for 3 days, stuff him in suit case and declare him as Paris trinkets. UGH!!!!!

And how was your day??? HUMMMM????? Hugs.

my day was busy -- they all are lately which I guess is good as I have NOTHING going on in terms of an interview. Canadian consulate is a waste land it seems.

I did go and submit for a new passport in my married name so... that's another box checked off my to do list.

:D

God, I hope I don't have to specify for that! Although, once I have my IIN, I can pay the IV bill online, can't I? I don't have to wait to receive snail mail for it or anything, right?
