NVC September - 2009 Edition

Thanks for the response. I just e-mailed it and got the auto response. I also just e-mailed it with another e-mail that's very similar to his e-mail (only the last two letters are switched), and got the auto response as well. How do I know if the DS3032 is accepted or not? Through the AVR? Because if it is accepted through e-mail, i don't want to have him waste postage and send the hard copy....

I knew mine was accepted because the IV bill was "INVOICED" ... But probably there's another method, that someone else will tell us

Just want to be clear...for the DS3032 choice of agent, does it have to be e-mailed from the applicant (my husband)'s email address that i gave to NVC operator, or can I (the petitioner) send it in my e-mail, but sent as though he's the one writing it...

My hubby is so sick and he can't even get up and check his e-mail for a couple of days now, can't talk very long neither because of his sore throat, I worry about him so much, but at the same time, want to have this DS3032 form done ASAP.....

I even think about calling NVC and change his e-mail to another one which I have access to....any thoguhts any one?

And with his sickness now, I can't even have him print out and sign and send in the physical copy...sigh...I just want to be with him....

They should have taken both of your email addresses (yours and his). If they didn't give them your email address as well, or give them the email address you sent the ds-3032 from as your email address.

I have a question if you don't mind. Im wandering do you have to call NVC with the emails, as my husband will be going back to his work and no acess to computer for the next month. I had him sign the hard copy of choice of agent, can I just mail that in?

i've heard of other petitioners sending the emails and they were fine

and you can mail the hard copy as well

thankyou again christeen this messgae i think pertains to be ,, yes i hope that happens too with the cosponsor deal ,, the info you gave me is really helpfull, by the way since i paid the iv bill and waiting for it to say " paid " i ask my hubby to get his doc together so that he can directly send them the ds230 with supprting doc ,, at first i ask him to mail the doc to me thinking i have to add my pic in it but nvc told me i they don't need my pic i said well fine!! so hubby is going to send in 2 photos, ds230 signed and dated ,, police certificate ( hubby never been in trouble thank god !! lol) and birth certificate , and marriage certificate original and mistriously copies together i believe that is all check me if am wrong please ? !! next week directly to nvc DHL them ,, as far us my cosponsor you are so right get her butt and get it done !! don't know when i have been persistant ,,, help me god

just checked online and my AOS status payment says PAID, printed the cover sheet and will mail I864EZ tomorrow, hopefully next week my ds3032 will be accepted by nvc

Sounds like you have what you need, but be sure to go over the document requirements in case there is anything else that pertains to you (military records, prior marriage etc...)... Just make sure he makes 3 copies and puts one copy in the package and WRITE YOUR CASE # ON EVERY SINGLE PAGE!!!!

The difference with NVC is that you can call them and give them both of your email addresses. At NVC stage the beneficiary or the petitioner can call. This is what I did, I scanned the hard copy of the DS-3032 with my wifes signature and attached it to the email and used the email template as well. I also sent in the hard copy of the DS-3032 form as well and I cut the barcode from them emailed one they send you and taped it to the one my wife had signed. They accepted the hardcopy faster than the emailed one for me.....Just make sure to call and give email addresses.

Me too!! i Just checked nvc web ,, my IV showed PAID , PAID !!!! yaye!!! so i am only left with one thing you know which !!!!

okay a little confused in that area,, do they need my doc meaning police info and previous marriage in the ds230 or my husband's ?

Have seen as long as 14 days, and as short as 6 days. Im one of the exceptions, 16 days, ARGH!!!!
