i think that question is referring to ppl who will be immigrating with you

since the petitioner is a usc, he would not be immigrating

Correct!!!!!!!! Bingo!!!!!!!!!!!! On target!!!!! Nothing goes there, if just her immigrating, you put NONE in that space. You Spec are a U.S. citizen, even if your fly to USA with her, you still put NONE.

Unfortunately, since there is no clarification in the instructions, it's ambiguous.

just like on the I130 with question 22

i think they leave those questions ambiguous intentionally

why i do not know though

I864 delivered November 2nd.....nvc logged it on November 5th

DS230 delivered November 6th.....nvc logged it on November 12th

Sorry, I was out on a photo shoot today and just got back online....

OK... So I got from the previous posts that they want a f***** photo copy of the originals I sent with the 230 package... My question is, r they gonna give me an RFE to make photocopies of the documents that THEY have??? Or do ya think they will spring for making a copy for themselves?? I have a 2 copies (1 for me one for my husband) but I dont want to send it unsolicited???

From the text I understood that you send the Originals or a Certified copy, not a set of photocopied package?? :bonk: Any thoughts

hahaha Yeah, I can probably laptop it, Paris. :) It'll take me a while but we'll be good, I'm sure.

Thank you, everyone, for your input; I'll get the form corrected and go from there. :)

I understood and was told send the packet of DS-230 of originals and or certified copies, then enclose a whoe seprate photo copy of the entire packet and this is IF you only want the orignals/certified copies back at the interview. This is what I did.

 i got my DS and aos emails few minutes ago.thanks god.

please guys correct me if i am wrong.here is what i am gonna do.

i will print out the ds form fill it out and sign it then scan it and attach it with the email but also i am gonna use the VJ attachment 3 or template.

so the body of the email will be the VJ attachment 3 adn then the original ds will be attached to it.

Does this work? please help.thank you

you can just use the template that's on VJ. Since your emailing it, it doesn't need to be signed.

Yes, or do both, that is what I did, hubbys signature on the coversheet, and the DS-3032 form, and I emailed it to them , then I also stuck it int he AOS packet when I sent it to them UPS just to make sure they have the hard copies in case the emailed failed.

Truly happy!!!

Okay your killing me Bunzarelli, what is question #22 on the I-130???? Dont make me pull a copy, LOL

that one about if you are not in the us AND won't be filing for adjustment of status this question does not apply

yet the question goes on to ask which consular office will be interviewing at

the question is very misleading
