Bern - maybe we can have side-by-side rockers in whatever institution they place us in when we go bonkers. As for the attorney, we're going to need a waiver, so I caved and hired an attorney.

Paris - the angel pic pretty much sums up how I feel. I can't remember where I found it - probably some free graphics site online

Mal- I hope you're right. I can't take much more of this.

Well, I'm just not cut out for this. I really just want to say #### it and just, stop this whole process. I can't even think. I fell like my life is on hold. I'm sorry for being such a downer.

yes you are welcome to ask as many questions as u want , and i must say the VJ team is so nice and friendly that they always help other members and u will also get all ur answers , and beleive me what i figured out this NVC journey is not as tough as USCIS ,

Hi guys there! I am one with you. I got my NVC# last Sept. 02... at last start of the new journey.

I-30 sent: May 20, 2009

I-30 notice date: May 26, 2009

NOA1 hard copy: June 1, 2009

APPROVED via email: Aug. 21, 2009

NOA2 hard copy: Aug. 28, 2009

NVC received: Sept. 01, 2009

NVC case #: Sept. 2, 2009 (live operator)

Got the invoice email today & was able to pay both AOS & IV bills at once!

We're using a lawyer, and the email was addressed to him with a copy to us.

I called to see if it was okay for me to pay (knew it would take him longer to get around to paying it), and he said yes.

So I guess we're off & running again.

I haven't received my NOA2 yet but received the email conformation. How am I supposed to know the NVC case number. Does NVC send a letter?

I haven't received my NOA2 yet but received the email conformation. How am I supposed to know the NVC case number. Does NVC send a letter?

Start calling NVC about 5 days after you heard about your NOA 2. Now getting case number can take between 7 to 14 days, but varies at time, so start calling !! Once they have your case, give them your email and the beneficiarys email address. Congrats on NOA 2

Any idea why both invoices were available for payment at once?

I thought, from looking at timelines, that the IV bill wasn't available for payment until after the I-864 was filed.

I'm confused....
