so i finally found a cosponsor but this is the delemma in the 3 year tax return deal she did not file in 2006 because she was dependet ( i think on her parents ) so she did not have the tax return forms for the year 2006 ,, what should i do helppppppppppp i am sending every thing tommorow !! and i not filled out any thing yet but i looked at the 864 it is not hard it is just a single paper to fill out but needed a lot of stuff !

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe since she was claimed as a dependant and not required to file taxes she just has to write a letter stating something like this....

"I did not file taxes for 2006 because I was (a student, claimed on my parents tax returns etc... put the reason). My total income was (put the amount that she claimed and hopefully it is less than like $5,000 which is the limit as a dependent) If they were in school, I would maybe put the college/school name and submit school documents or some proof of that unless they were under 18 in which case just necessary to state that....

I figured, since I was mentioned in question 14 and would be accompanying her to the US, that I should place my name there.

I better get her to DHL me a new copy of this form ASAP, if I shouldn't have done that... rrrghhhh.

Yes, they are two seperate paths...

The one path (technically yours, the petitioners) is to pay the AOS fee and send the 864 AOS Package, then you are techincally done,

The other path (the petitioner) is to send the 3032 appointing you... Once that is received you get the IV bill and pay it, once it is paid you can send the 230 and wait for that to be accepted...

Eventually both paths merge and once both streets are complete, you get a case complete

malka we got approved almost at the same time mine was on the 27's of nvc got it on the 10 of septemebr well call them ,, because i already got ds 3032 and fee bill paid ,,, god luck by the way did you get a sponsor rolling ?

Lily you are very lucky that you already have it! If I wasn't constrained by time, I would not mind, but I don't know what they are doing over there. Anyway I have been calling. Yes I do have a sponsor now! A very kind person offered to sponsor my husband. It's a true miracle. I am thankful to God for it. Thanks for asking.

Hello all,

The NVC is lagggggin behind. How long must I wait before the DS3032 gets accepted? I sent it about a week ago from my wife's email, my yahoo, my military email, and through the postal system. I am hoping I can get that path started asap. My AOS bill still shows In Process but the link to print the cover sheet came up and on the receipt page it shows my AOS as paid. When I spoke to the NVC rep they said I can go ahead and send my AOS package as long as I print off this page and show a bank statement showing the AOS debted from my account.

I called a little bit before 11 today and asked for an update and still nothing from NVC. I hope that they accept my wife's DS3032 and my AOS package soon because I want to get started on the IV Bill and package.

hello to all

we already got our case number, it was assigned last sept 18..but we still waiting for nvc to send us notice that so we can send the ds3032 and pay AOS..

my husband is coming here in philippines and will stay for 8 days, next week..is it best way if i will just let him bring all my documents (for the ds230 packet) when he go back to kentucky, so he will be the one to mail it to NVC? or i will just keep my documents here and will just personally send it to NVC? hope you can give me some insight..thank you in advance

Thats what I did. When I went to Italy, I had my husband fill out ALL the documents and get all the required stuff so when I went back to the US, I had everything ready. My husband put me on the 3032 as agent, then when the bill was paid, I sent everything to them via overnight mail from Florida... It seemed to work pretty well, now I am just waiting for the case to be completed....

thank you christeen ... was planning to do that but i just have second thought..so now i will prepare and clip everything... i noticed that ds320 packet the documents need to have a photo copy..did you clipped original with the photocopy or you separate the two?

There is part 1 and part 2... The part 1 is signed and the part 2 is not... I left the dates blank when I had him fill them out (I used the VJ templates). When I sent them( 230 package) I sent all the originals and made 2 copies of the entire package. I mailed a copy of the package to my husband and I kept a set. Be sure to put your NVC # on EACH document....

I do not understand, my husband called NVC yesterday and they took his and my e-mails and personal datas (names, birthday dates etc), but operator didin' t wanna tell him are we get a case number, when my husband asked him that operator turn off the phone line?

I am very confused, any suggestions, did we or we not get a case number?

If this is the case, when you go thru the AVR after inserting the cis number it will give you the NVC case number automaticly... or at least was like this for me...

Every single time you talk to the operator they will always ask you name, date of birth, email and mail addresses.. and also the telephone number both of the petitioner and the applicant so thats normal...

yes you have right, I have already called AVR and got my NVC number trough automated response, thanks God
