When you call the NVC and get the "Your call is important to us. Please hold. All lines are busy." line, will it go straight to the automated message about your NVC case number once a line opens up or go to an operator?

For some strange reason today it was going right to the operator, no AVR?? Anybody else get this??

03/21/2009 - I-130 Mailed to Chicago lockbox

11-30-09: GOT GREEN CARD in mail!!!!!!

Citizenship Process;

1/11/2013: Mailed N400 to Dallas Texas

3/11/2013: interview.. Approved

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!

For some strange reason today it was going right to the operator, no AVR?? Anybody else get this??

YES, I noticed that too. I called early this am, and it said please wait for the AVRS and then it would dis-connect.

Then later after they opened straight to a operator like you said.

Truly happy!!!

12/16/2009 - Received GC in mail

Removal Of Conditions 09-09-2011

09-09-2011 : Mailed ROC packet

09-12-2011 : Packet Arrived CSC (delayed from labor day long weekend)

09-14-2011 : Check Cashed

09-14-2011 : NOA1 dated 09-12-2011

09-19-2011 : Early walk-in Biometrics completed (Original date 10/03/2011)

02-07-2012 : Green Card Approved

02-11-2012 : Green Card Received

Citizenship

09-07-2012 : Mailed N-400 package

09-10-2012 : N-400 Package delivered

09-13-2012 : Check cashed, email and text received with case number

09-14-2012 : Biometrics letter mailed

09-15-2012 : NOA received dated 09-10

09-17-2012 : Biometrics letter received for 09-27

02-25-2013 : Interview Passed - Original interview was 01-07-2013 but was out of country so postponed

I know! and I was hoping that they were updating that's why the AVR was not working...false hope. Oh well, All we could really do is wait...wait...and wait. It has been three weeks for us now. 3 whole weeks gone to waste. sheesh!

05/01/2009 - NOA1 Hardcopy

08/28/2009 - NO2 approval :D (can't wait for us to receive the hardcopy!)

09/04/2009 - NOA2 hardcopy

NVC Journey

09/25/2009 - NVC case number assigned FINALLY! provided our email addresses

10/05/2009 - DS-3032/AOS Fee Bill Generated

10/05/2009 - Emailed DS-3032; Mailed DS-3032; Paid AOS Bill

10/07/2009 - AOS shows paid/AOS Cover Sheet Available

10/09/2009 - I-864 Package Sent out

10/19/2009 - NVC Received I-864 package

10/21/2009 - NVC confirmed receipt of completed DS-3032

10/22/2009 - IV fee bill now available (will wait for email before we pay it)

10/23/2009 - Paid IV fee bill

10/26/2009 - IV bill is now posted as paid/IV Cover Sheet Available

10/26/2009 - sent IV packet (the waiting begins!)

10/29/2009 - IV packet delivered to NVC at 9:40am

11/02/2009 - received checklist response as per AVR

11/10/2009 - NVC page sign-in failed!

11/12/2009 - CASE COMPLETE as confirmed by NVC operator

11/13/2009 - Interview date assigned

USEM Journey

11/13/2009 - Appointment letter received

11/16-17 - 2-Day Medical Exam PASSED

12/14/2009 - Interview at 6:30 AM - Visa Approved!

12/16/2009 - Passport delivered by Air 21 before 12 noon.

12/17/2009 - CFO Seminar at 11am

12/20/2009 - POE LAX

Yes, this happened to me too. I almost felt bad for bothering an operator and even apologized for the call going through to her. I told her I just wanted to check the automated system and for some reason it went right to her. She was very nice and said its ok and asked my receipt number. I'm still not entered yet.... No big surprise since I got got my NOA2 in the mail today. :innocent::dance:

i got that too

i was quite surprised

their lines have been consistently busy these past days though

I864 delivered November 2nd.....nvc logged it on November 5th

DS230 delivered November 6th.....nvc logged it on November 12th

omg, i just finished the 40 pages. my head hurts :lol: just refreshing my memory. i have had all of the paper work ready for NVC since i left india in May :P
